My favourite local Vietnamese restaurant. I have been coming here for years and the food has never disappointed. So flavoursome and unique! A very generous lunch serving is only $12. The owner and staff are super friendly.
Long simmered Pho broth, resulting in deep flavour. If you want the taste of amazing Pho, experience Pho in this restaurant. We were highly impressed. Strong flavour with minimal oil and no MSG headache! The prices are great too. The spring rolls with lettuce, mint and sauce were also delicious. The Vietnamese coffee, strong!
I find the Vegan Pho at Viet Pearl delicious, flavoursome and packed with plenty of vegetables, tofu and herbs! I would recommend Viet Pearl to those who admire or wish to try Vietnamese cuisine, those who wish to eat healthy and also to those with specific dietary preferences gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian ect.. I will be back when I am in Northcote!
No frills Vietnamese restaurant. Proper good food, super friendly staff and it’s BYO. Unbeatable really! The coleslaw/Vietnamese salads are a must.Recommended dishesPho with Rare Beef and Brisket, Rolls
Food is consistently great and has been my number 1 go to Vietnamese place. The Pho is delicious and I can’t get enough of their fried rice dishes. However, the spring rolls have gone smaller to how I remember them.
Customer service is 10/10 the two girls on tonight were both so lovely, the girl with the blue shirt and braids served my family and i this time, and was so sweet and understanding even with our long order. food was also a 10/10 we ordered to much but it was too good to stop! could not recommend this place more, the only downside was that it was quite busy when we went but that was because it was dinner time. Also on an unrelated note if the girl with the blue shirt is reading this i really want to know where her necklace is from because i forgot to ask but i really loved it!!
Food is alright, but service was terrible. Which is honestly to be expected at a good Asian restaurant. Food came out staggered to the point where I had finished my meal before the rest of the table's orders came out. I am now sitting waiting and watching the others eat. My food came out 20 minutes after ordering and the rest came out 50 minutes later. Food wasn't good enough to warrant the wait. Honestly the FOH was really let down by the kitchen. The restaurant only had 6 tables full.
10 years i go. Best Vietnamese on High St. Always consistent. Always fresh. Highly trained Owner/Chef. Menu options for all. Great value for money.
This rating is only for their stir-fired noodle, which i ordered. The noodle has too much sauce, and is a bit salty. The tasting experience goes down as you eat. I feel like this specific dish is the steorotyped asian dish. Doesn't suit me. But i may come back to try their other dishes, hope they're better.
AMAZING vegan menu with plenty of whole food options. Incredible and delicious. Salt & Pepper Eggplant is a must.
