Wow. Just wow - gorgeous space and beautiful and delicious food. I’m an omnivore but the feed me menu was very generous and has amazing dishes…couldn’t pick a favourite! Definitely come hungry as it’s a lot! Absolutely love the cocktails too - great service as well. My only regret is not being able to make room for dessert. Highly recommend for a date
Being a carnivore myself I was incredibly skeptical of coming to a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. But the culinary adventure that the set menu took me on was a welcome surprise. An incredible mix of flavours that was well worth the upmarket price tag. A truly unique characteristic of the set menu was the contrast between cold/raw and warm/cooked. This accentuated the flavours incredibly well. Service and decor were excellent.
An experience like no other! My partner surprised me to a wonderful dining experience! We enjoying the tasting menu with such a variety of flavours. Each dish unique and full of flavour. The only feedback we had was that the sauce that accompanied the eggplant was not to our liking but we enjoyed the culinary journey
Expect an explosion of great food taste. What a great place for a special dinner. We had a ten course vegetarian dinner and every single dish was a dream. Not cheap but worth every single bite. Every dish was explained to us by the waitress or waiter and every dish was a surprise for our sense of taste. Thanks chef We loved it and we will be back for sure.
Food was delicious and the service was amazing! Best vegetarian restaurant I have been too. Dishes for all palates and they're all expertly made.
I usually love going to vegan restaurants because they can't fall back on meat as the star of the dish. Each dish needs to be rich in plant-based flavours. Transformer is definitely an experience... The flavours are strange, punchy, and sometimes questionable. We had the smaller Feed Me menu for $64 per person. It was super filling. I was worried about portions when the finger food was coming out, but those were the only things that were small. The raw radishes with citrus butter were super strange... Not sure they have a place on a pricey menu. Miso glazed mushroom was a delightful one bite. Wish there was more of this one! Beetroot tartare was again, a little strange. Initial taste reminded me of a fruity vomit. I still ate every bite, as it went well with the cream and rice crackers. The chickpea panisse. There were WAY too many of these. The sprinkles of yeast on the outside make them super dry, so extremely hard to eat three per person. Not bad flavours at all, it just reminded me of eating dry weetbix as a kid. The stars of the night were definitely the mains. The salad was fantastic and well balanced, the potatoes were filling if not a little underwhelming, but the cabbage was so full of flavour and just perfectly balanced. Those pine mushrooms. Really fantastic. Not sure I would come back here to dine. The flavour combinations weren't super enjoyable. They left me going "That was interesting, but I never want to eat it again". If it was a bar, I'd probably come back for the drinks through. Would absolutely recommend the Watermelon & Habanero Sour Beer if you like watermelon, give this a go even if you don't like beer, and the Peachy Momo if you like yuzu. The staff were all super sweet. We did have an issue of being accidentally overcharged as we were paying the bill. They couldn't amend the charge on the spot, so we were told we'd receive a $110 refund in a day or two. Overall an interesting experience in a well decorated restaurant. I think I was expecting to be blown away by the food. I think they're on the right track, but the flavours just need a bit of work.

Excellent food for vegetarian people.. Specially Indians who are wanting to explore other vegetarian options than curry.. This is nice place.. And don't worry about menu.. As you get to test and eat every thing they have on menu... Eggplant abd cabbage is the best...
Great service Got the feed me more tasting menu and I was bloody stuffed. Food was really great and had alot of complex flavours Enjoyed my time there
The food was good- nice to see different kinds of vegetarian food. However, the service was not the best. We felt like the person waiting on us was grumpy and intending to get us out as soon as we sat, especially so the next booking could get in and be sat. Also, a little bit unfortunate that they don’t allow birthday cakes to be cut or anything - so heads up people who want to celebrate birthdays there. Unfortunately also didn’t get dessert as part of the tasting. Nice ambience, creative cuisine. A little overpriced maybe but overall an okay experience.
