I had been very unwell for awhile and chose to change to Victoria medical to the new Dr Sharma who was useless. Basically told me I had lost weight due to being depressed when I wasn't even depressed! She didnt care to know my situation or my history just, assumed. I was lucky to find a naturopath in the end otherwise i would've been hospitalized for all the weight I was loosing. If doctors actually took the time to figure out whats going on with people then our health system may function alot better. My naturopath figured it all out and has helped me so so much. As for the cold and rude receptionists they clearly aren't interested in being friendly just stuck up but all they are is receptionists at the end of the day. Not welcoming at all. Waste of time definitely don't recommend.
Dr Ovida was so lovely, highly recommend! Unfortunately, my experience was dimmed by one of the receptionists who barely acknowledged me and made me feel very unwelcome.
The best doctors and medical service in Palmerston North. Highly recommended. They are very patient and professional. I have never met such welcoming people especially during this crazy Covid-19 time. I called them out of desparation as I had almost given up on finding a new doctor here. If you have an emergency and your doctor can't see you they have a nurse who can answer your questions and guide you step by step. Awesome service.
Had to go to the substitute Dr. As my doctor was booked up, as my son has been fainting regularly the past week & 1/2.We were in the substitute Drs office for 8 mins. She did a checkup on my son which nothing she did was actually relevant to my sons condition at all.. checking reflexes, checking in the ears, down the throat. She didn't ask any questions, didn't actually say ANYTHING TO DO WITH WHAT WE WENT IN FOR And charged us $37. WHAT A JOKE!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL
I am delighted to have found Dr Singh, after a number of unsatisfactory experiences elsewhere. Although I haven't been a patient all that long I can say I find him thorough and importantly, happy to take the time to talk to me about what's happening.
The Doctors, nurses and the receptionists at Victoria Medical have seen me for almost 30 years and have always seen me right. I am so thankful to be enrolled at this practice.
John is the best doctor. Ever. Full stop. We love and appreciate you John.
The office is usually available and Dr Singh is a wonderful doctor.
