the best care! I was blessed with Des, and Dr Frank Burke. The hydro dilation was daunting but having these professionals by my side, not only am I now pain free, but their care and skill during the procedure was beyond. Thank you to both of you. I was referred to Victoria House for an MRI on both shoulders. Subsequently I had the hydrodilitation procedure done on my shoulder - a technique that was pioneered by Dr Frank Bourke in 1989. Victoria House have done over 100,000 hydrodilitation procedures so you are in good hands. The staff were fabulous and re-assuring, from the reception folk to the radiologist who performed the hydrodilitation. As someone who does not like dealing with medical anything, it was a great experience.
Only went for an X ray but the staff were friendly and efficient! Had my X-ray done and walked out within 15 minutes with pictures and I didn’t even have an appointment Special mention to Sally, she was amazing! Thank you Paul
Such a great experience. I walked in and had no appointment I was seen within 5 minutes! I had an X-ray done with Tony, and he was fantastic so thorough and lovely. Highly recommend.
I just had a hydro injection done on my shoulder after having surgery on it 2 months ago. And I can honestly say the staff are so lovely. Especially Sally the nurse she talked me through everything about what was going to happen and was by my side when it was happening. She has a heart of gold. And Peter was lovely as well and made sure I was comfortable. Definitely recommend this place to go too.
First time attending Victoria House for shoulder hydrodilitation procedure as I have been in agony with pain. Accolades to all staff. They are a real team of professionals. Marg the nurse was so kind & caring. Whilst performing the procedure Dr Frank Burke explained in detail. His compassion & optimism was sincere. Thank you so much.
I was at Victoria house last Tuesday to have a hydro injection. The medical staff were very attentive and helpful. But, the young man at the front desk was lacking in compassion and quite rude telling me my husband was not to wait for me in the waiting room. Besides the fact I needed him to drive me home, I told him my husband was not well enough to stand out in the cold and that the car was too far away for him to sit in it. He said “well what’s wrong with him”. I realise these rules are made due to Covid. But felt that was quite unnecessary. Also have had problems getting my Medicare claim back as he mucked up the eft option and and instead will be waiting on a cheque. I rang and spoke to him a few days ago as I have not received the refund in my bank account. He assured me it was correct. Well I found it wasn’t After going to Medicare .
Booked a breast imaging appointment online after getting a referral from my GP had to select "breast imaging - bilateral", enter my date of birth and upload the referral during the booking process. Received a call saying that they don't offer this service at this location - and that they couldn't rebook me into a different location, and would just cancel my booking. All in all pretty unhelpful - honestly, update your website so that patients can only book services you actually offer.
Further update: Victoria House contacted me and apologised and refunded my money. Update - in response to their request below, I sent an email a few weeks ago but haven't heard anything. Also the mistake was not the misquoting - we all make mistakes. The real mistake is not accepting responsibility afterwards. Medical stuff was fine, but they had quoted for a procedure. After the procedure when I had to pay in a hospital gown, they reneged and told me it was $40 more. I informed them that I had been quoted a lower price, but they refused to accept it. Not in a great position to argue I accepted, but was not happy - hence this review.
I had an appointment this morning and a lovely Nurse called Karen was looking after me. She was fantastic, she put me a ease, explained the whole procedure and was such a friendly face to see on a Monday morning. I just want to say thank you and she should be recognised as an excellent employee. Many thanks, Abbie
