I've been to a few vic roads offices in the last 18 years but received the best service at sunshine office. The ladies at the counter were very polite and helpful. Thanks a lot.
Renewed my license complete with new photo this morning and was in and out in 20 minutes - seamless experience and friendly and efficient staff customer service officer at counter 7.
Went in to try my luck to get my oversea licence converted. Was served by one of the staff member. He couldn’t push my date any earlier so I wanted to check if I got all the documents ready for the conversion. Mate kept arguing and was so confident that i could not convert my license when I could. If ppl working at VIC road are confused then who else am I suppose to go to ???
The fact we have to pay $20 to ask or do anything here is shocking, and an insult to taxpayer. Not only that, average wait times for an appointment are nearly 2 weeks!nnWe have to pay to have 2 week wait times.nnNo public toilets in the centre or nearby.nnNever mind the fact the staff are impatient and surly most of the time.nnWhat a joke of a government to allow this to have happened.
I booked an appointment for international driving license verification for my wife and arrived 26 seconds late due to unavoidable delays. Despite this, I was turned away and told to reschedule, with no available appointments until January. This decision was made without any consideration of our situation traveling with kids, no less!nnThe time it took them to look for the next available appointment could have easily been spent completing the verification. It felt like they were more focused on following rigid rules than providing a reasonable service.nnThis experience came across as nothing more than a money-making exercise. Absolutely disappointing and frustrating. Would not recommend the sunshine services.
