FYI for anyone expecting time-critical deliveries in Victoria: the Sunshine West Australia Post hub is a recurring bottleneck.n​Despite clearing Customs from NZ to AU in under 24 hours, my “International Courier” parcel experienced no onward movement at Sunshine West for approximately 39 hours, followed by a weekend hold. It then sat for a further 50-hour hold for a delivery distance of just 50km. This is not an isolated incident. Based on repeated experience, delays at this specific hub appear to be a consistent operational issue rather than an exception.n​If delivery time matters, I strongly recommend avoiding the Australia Post network in Victoria by using private carriers such as DHL Express, FedEx, or UPS. These carriers operate dedicated hubs and do not route through Sunshine West, resulting in far more reliable transit times and significantly less stress for urgent shipments.
It should be zero star. Delivery guy sent parcel to wrong post office. Last and many past parcels from both locals & overseas ended up being lost. Since tracking system clearly shows the delivery location, consumers are all watching in live now and see what is going wrong.nLet's keep workers more competitive among themselves by developing more customer complaints.
Waiting for response as an Christmas present was processed through this depot and it's been delivered to the wrong address left in safe drop that wasnt my address. Have requested for the address it went to and nobody at Australia post can tell me. 'Safe drop' at wrong address and now who knows if or when my daughter will get her christmas gift. Seems to be a common occurrence- need to improve your tracking and staff ability to read maps and follow gps directions
Incredibly slow mail sortingnWe get mail from all over Australia, delivery times as expected even with COVIDnnBut if it goes though sunshine west might as well add weeks to months to expected delivery time
