While walking in I thought the bad reviews was a over exaggeration, but when I went up to one of the green booths to check in the lady was disrespectful and had the worst attitude. If she really didn’t wanna be here then she shouldn’t of come to work and portray the negativity energy on to other clients.
Best experience with Centrelink which I've had a few over the years. Minimal wait times and quick service which was a shock compare to a decade ago. Matt's the man. Well done which is a first for me to say about any of the Centrelink's I've been to. Bravo
I was a little apprehensive about going to this joined Medicare/Centrelink centre. Not only did this centre have bad reviews, but I've also had many bad experiences with customer service at Centrelink in the past. Maria from Medicare was lovely and assisted with all of my enquiries. She was polite, kind and patient. Businesses need more employees like her :
Disgusting comments from Centrelink workers. Judgmental. I will never apply for help again. I have bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome since November 2021. I have to work regardless of low quality sleep and random flare pain in both wrists. The doctor pressured me for surgery and would not give me pain killers. It would take year to complete surgery for both wrists. Cannot feed or wipe if I get both surgeries for both wrists. I have no source of income to pay my course in counseling. Use Centrelink workers as example unprofessional behavior of not being like them. I bet they never work in horrible jobs or horrible employers. It would explain how less compassionate you are. I have worked horrible jobs to put food for family and for myself and get off Centrelink to avoid being label as dole bludger and avoid job snobs who believe their degree is relevant from past completion. Both middle finger salute to you Centrelink workers. You will never understand lost sleep and pain or horrible work environment.
Leah the dog wont help and is now blocking me from evrry services australia vompany they are stealing my info. Optus network took $450 im trying to ask for support and these dogs just laugh and turn me away.
There are so many negative comments that I was a bit worried when coming here, and then truly suprised! Everyone here is so patient, kind and they work as quick as possible for people not to be waiting for too long. I came in when there was this man making a fuss over his document, and there were 3 staffs standing there trying their best to deal with his anger. If you treat them with respect they will treat you the same. Hope people have the same experience as mine today
Rude , awful place. Spent hours trying to get a Medicare card but forced to queue and treated like an unemployed person
Ridiculous services. Very rude staffs and security. We came with three people today with three different matters and all of us checked in. None were having covid like symptoms or whatsoever but then we get stopped by the security. He was super super MEAN. Rude approach to us. We do know the rule if we have covid we will stay home. Nobody like to come and wait if they dont need to. You guys need to understand this. Try a better approach to people next time. If you are disrespecting us dont expect us to respect you.
Pandemic or not the service is terrible. Offices are running empty. security at the door is running the place. just like they do the pandemic and possible the parliament. online system is broken. not enough support for other languages for Medicare. may God save the elderly and sick in this Godless country.
Security staff looked unfriendly and very rude. When I asked him, I needed to wait for my husband to finish work. He asked me to go out and wait for my husband. ??? while the customer seat was empty and it was very cold outside. Someone who is a citizen of AUS. He had a very good attitude and was outrageously helpful in front of me. A lot of people complain to him but he still works with bad expertise. Why do they work for the GOVERNMENT but have racist attitudes towards people of other countries? They will not care about our complaint but I will try to report to the government this office is the worst place I have ever come across
