The level of care and hospitality here is exceptional. It all starts with the receptionists, who are not only friendly but also highly professional over the phone, ensuring they are attentive to your needs and how to get you the help you need. The nursing staff is remarkable, and the veterinary team, and especially Jon, who takes care of Toby, truly excels in alleviating both your worries and those of your beloved pet. Toby can sense that these are genuinely caring individuals. Toby underwent surgery on his front paw, and the procedure went off without a hitch. The post-operative care was meticulously organized, and he and we received excellent support throughout the recovery process.
We are very grateful to Dr. Gordon and the team for an amazing job for our beautiful boy Louie Samoyed He had full hip replacement surgery on both hips, 2 years apart. They looked after Louie very well,nothing was to much trouble, during his stay at the hospital hi had lots of cuddles and attention.nIt's has been a week after surgery, he is recovering very well.nThank you very much Dr.Gordon and the teamnYou are the best
From my very first phone call making a booking I felt at ease. The reception staff were amazing. They allowed me the opportunity to ask any question's, didn’t rush the answers, used my dogs name always when speaking about her, which was definitely a more personal experience. The lead up to my appointment, totally professional and yet a personal experience again. A call to see how Tia was doing, appointment reminder, pre admission forms and map details sent out. On the day all front line staff professional and welcoming to both myself and all other clients, whether admissions or pickup. Then meeting our Vet Peter and his assistant. Again I was immediately at ease.The consult was not at all rushed. They took the time to meet both myself and Tia, even having cuddles and a little play which relaxed Tia putting her at ease and making her comfortable prior to the physical exam.Everything was clearly explained with regular opportunities to ask questions. I was kept updated on the day from Vet Peter via sms …. When she was heading in for her CT scan, her recovery period update, and when she was ok for picking up. When we arrived back at the clinic for pickup, again so personal, reception staff “ Hi Gina, I’ll just phone through and get little Tia brought out for you” Tia was then brought out across Vet Peter’s shoulder, her favourite and most relaxed form of travel lolnDischarge was again professional but personal. Thank you to all the office staff, Vet Peter and his wonderful assistant Vet. I carry nothing but thanks and praise during the whole process and highly appreciate and recommend the Veterinary Specialist centre Carrara QLD
Our vet referred us to Dr. Gordon for our rottie after we noticed some limping- and we have now gone back to him a couple of times without hesitation. Dr. Gordon has been an absolute gem and I could not recommend him enough. He has all the time in the world for you, we have never felt rushed, and he is determined to figure out the problem in order to find a solution. He radiates care, kindness, professionalism and compassion and his knowledge goes above and beyond. My husband and I drove home from VSS the other night and my hubby said Dr. Gordon is the best vet he has ever come across- and I couldn’t agree more. We are so grateful to have been referred to him and I know when we have to go see him for our baby, he will treat us and our pup with the highest standard of care.nnI also would like to acknowledge the gorgeous team at the front, as I have called them in tears and in distress, and they have always been so patient, kind and reassuring. Dr. Gordon’s team are all absolutely amazing as well. Beautiful human beings all around.nnHighly recommend VSS over and over again for your fur babies!!
I like to give you 100 stars if possible,however I like too say the staff at the desk ,fantastic!!! Nurses and veterinarians and surgeons are outstanding. They know how much we care and love our animals and so do they! My beautiful girl had the best treatment, and was sincerely loved by all your staff.THANK YOUnRosie and Indy
