Story

Puppy Preschool is for puppies aged between eight and sixteen weeks.
Puppies learn most of their socialising before 16weeks of age.
It is crucial for them to interact with people and other dogs to prevent any unwanted behaviours or fears later on.
Puppy Preschool aims to teach owners how to provide puppies with calm, consistent, positive training and guidence.


What do Puppy School Classes Involve?

Classes will be broken down into four one hour sessions over a 4 week period.

Week 1:
Class Introduction
Puppy Introduction
Puppy Play Time
Sit on Cue
Toilet training
Mat Training

Week 2:
Revision of Week 1
Puppy Play Time
Food Nutrition and Toxic Foods
Walking on a Loose Lead
Drop on Cue
Crate Training Information

Week 3:
Revision of Week 1 and 2
Puppy Play Time
Vaccinations
Parasites and Heartworm
Fleas and Paralysis Ticks
Stay on Cue
Come on Cue
Clinic tour

Week 4:
Revision of Week 1,2 and 3
Puppy Play Time
Grooming
Desexing
Oral Care
Demonstartion and Questions with Anthea Holmes Specialist in Dog Behaviour and Training
Puppy graduation and Photos

***Puppies require their first vaccination to attend puppy school***

A NEW COURSE STARTS ON THE FIRST MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH

Classes are $88 for a 4 week course, held on Monday evenings 6 - 7pm at ExcelVets in Robina.

Bookings are essential and payment is required at time of booking to confirm your spot.
