Very grateful we have these 24/7 facilities nearby. My dog was very unwell on a Saturday and I was able to get her in quickly.  She deteriorated and they went through many tests over a few days to figure it out and fix.  I don’t think she would have made it without them.nnThe vets were great at keeping me posted - each would call with updates, test results and estimated costs, every few hours.nnThey gave her wonderful care and it was good they were with her all night too as I’d have worried leaving her alone overnight at a regular vet.nnCosts are high as unfortunately there is no medicare for pets. So I would recommend pet insurance - I ended up paying 20% with my pet insurance.

Our first visit to AEC was in mid September for our very unwell 15 year old pup Ruby regular vet was unavailable. From the emergency call at home to reaching AEC within an hour we felt supported and heard.nnReception staff, the vets and all of the back end staff turned such a heartbreaking decision for our family into a peaceful and calm end of life for Ruby. Thank you to your whole team for your care, compassion and professionalism. We miss her incredibly but know Ruby is now at peace x

I gave a score of 10 out of 10 because when my dog ate chocolate late one night over Christmas, the out of hours emergency vet team were absolutely wonderful. They were calm, kind and extremely helpful at a very stressful time, explaining everything clearly and making me feel reassured that my dog was in safe hands. Thanks to their quick care and professional advice, she was perfectly fine afterwards. The genuine compassion and support shown by the staff made all the difference, and I am very grateful for their service.

I’m so grateful for the care and kindness shown today when I brought my two Staffies in following an emergency. I arrived feeling quite fragile and overwhelmed, having lost my elderly Labrador the day before after a long illness when it rains it pours and I was thankfully met with such calm, warmth and reassurance.nnThank you to the nurses and a special mention to the beautiful doctor who cared for my dogs.. her gentle manner, patience and genuine compassion meant so much during a very emotional and stressful day.nnTruly lovely care. We had to bring our Cavoodle Charlie here on New Year’s Day for an emergency, and the care we received was outstanding. From the very first phone call through to picking him up, the staff were incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring.nnThe doctors and nurses took the time to explain everything clearly, especially as Charlie needed to stay overnight. We were kept well informed with regular phone calls providing updates, along with photos of him sent every 12 hours, which gave us so much peace of mind during a stressful time.nnIt’s never easy having to take your dog to the vet, particularly in an emergency, but the genuine care, communication, and customer service here truly stood out compared to other vets. We’re extremely grateful to the whole team
