My dog was sick so a local vet suggested I take my dog Teddy here. He ended up having ingested beach sand and they were happy to accommodate him. The wait time was reasonable given how busy it was. I felt comfortable leaving him there overnight knowing he was in good hands. The staff were approachable and friendly. It was obvious they take the emergencies very seriously and act accordingly. I felt really quite reassured and I am very thankful Teddy got the necessary care required to recover. It's better to be safe than sorry!
I am absolutely devastated at the loss of our beautiful Quinn. This is the invoice I received today. HOW EXTREMELY INSENSITIVE of your company not to take proper care to take out this text before sending it to the family of a dog we entrusted you with who passed away yesterday in your care!!!!!! Don’t comeback saying it was one of those situations and out of your control!nIf you want to respond you can call.nLikewise when paying our final bill yesterday your receptionist couldn’t even say sorry for your loss not empathy or compassion from staff at AEC Vasity Lakes!!!!nWe are broken at loosing Quinn BROKENnnThis practice is very unprofessional. They emailed us another family’s invoice on Sunday morning with all their personal information on it!
My 16 yr old blind and deaf Moodle Max survived being hit by a car ... and I'm blessed that he was taken immediately to the Animal Emergency Centre ... no doubt saving his life. It's hard to put into words how grateful I am to have my dearest friend still with me ... no doubt because of the wonderful care he and I received that awful night. Thank you so much. The photo below was taken many years ago when he still had two eyes and his hearing intact.
We attended the after-hours emergency vet clinic on 31/07 around 6 pm with our border collie, Luna. We want to extend a massive thank you to Dr. Darby for his incredible care. He was exceptionally kind, understanding, and thorough. His reassurance and the time he took to explain all the best treatment options were invaluable to us.nnWe also want to thank the triage vet nurse who initially assessed Luna. She listened to her heart and lungs and reassured us that her vitals were okay. Her reassurance was very comforting. Nurses are incredible and deserve so much credit. I could not do what you do; it takes a very special person to be a vet nurse.nnAdditionally, we want to thank the lovely lady at the reception whose name we unfortunately did not get. She was so kind to us, especially as we were quite stressed. We had a border collie puppy two years ago that unfortunately passed away suddenly after only five days. Given our past experience, what might be seen as minor to most was very significant to us. You all treated us with so much kindness and compassion.nnThe receptionist made us feel at ease from the moment we walked through the door. You all do such an incredible job and probably do not get enough thanks for what you do. Your kindness and dedication do not go unnoticed. Don't listen to the negative reviews. The vets here are beyond amazing! When we had to have our little frank in for 3 days they took such great care of him! From texting us updates during the night, calls to update us how he's doing and clear communication. They made what was a very stressful situation for us, feel calm knowing he's in the best hands. The lovely receptionest was so kind & all the vets there were fantastic! God forbid we ever have a emergency situation again with our dog but if we do we would be back to AEC!
