Saw this place on YouTube, so we tried it out. It's a bakery, but also serves Malaysian food. We tried a couple of dishes, and they were quite nice. Also had one of their sausage rolls. They gave us a complimentary dessert as well.
Amazing Malaysian food right in the blue mountains. Who would have believe that you can get this style of food at this level at this spot?! Highly recommended. Packed with flavour, hearty, and quick!
This unassuming patisserie on the main street of Katoomba serves up surprisingly tasty Malaysian food! Our favourites were the Assam Laksa and Beef Rendang Nasi Lemak. We also had the Salt and Pepper Tofu, Chow Kway Teo, Combination Laksa and Beef Penang Noodles. Highly recommended for anyone that loves fragrant and tasty food!
It was a bit chaotic to order here but after I got a table the Malaysian beef curry was insanely delicious and well priced for a pretty big serve, just $13.90 with rice. The flavour was awesome and the meat was so soft and delicious perfectly cooked potatoes. Busy but friendly staff. They're doing a roaring trade here though, next time I want to try a pie and the laksa definitely recommend
Unique alright! If we didn’t read through the reviews, who would have thought a patisserie serves up authentic Malaysian food! Was very impressed with the nasi goreng and assam laksa. Friendly staff and beautiful desserts! Definitely a go to for Malaysian food in Katoomba.
We had pies here. It’s interesting how fresh the pies are, given that it’s an Asian restaurant. Love the Thai chicken pie and their creativity with pastries is next level. I Recommend looking at these pictures and encourage this local cafe!
In the middle of Katoomba Rd, they delivered very authentic Malaysian beautiful food, we got recommend from friends and we tried and proof it, it is delicious. Don't just read my reviews, experience it yourself with your family and friends
Delicious. Best Malaysian food in the mountains. Pictured: combination Laksa, beef Curry, nasi lemak, nasi goreng. Generous Laksa and nasi goreng portion. Very accommodating in providing pickles and sambal. A highlight was definitely the roti.
It's unique that it's a Malaysian restaurant and a patisserie and does both rather well. Portions are pretty generous too. Definitely worth a visit!
It is a pastry cafe but also serving Malaysian food. Whoever stop by blue mountain area and craving for south east Asia food, this is the place to go to. The bah kut teh was well worth the price as the portion is enough for two dinners. The asam laksa soup is thick and worth to try out. The pastry wasn’t too bad. The lemon muh rang was tasty and great for dessert. Service is a bit slow when the place get crowded.
