We came over for breakfast. It's a tiny shop with an amazing reputation. The day we came was a public holiday. The staff was very nice. As they ran out of space, we settled outside first. When a table became available, they invited us in as an option. We moved inside and continued with our breakfast. Food was amazing especially their bagel was very soft and tender. The breakfast was amazing. This place is highly recommended. Expect some waiting time if it's a busy day.
Great service very attentive staff . The food presentation was beautiful and it looks absolutely mouth watering and inviting. My partner ordered eggs Benedict with extra bacon which he absolutely loves. I ordered the sweetcorn fritters stack with chili and cream plus extra bacon. The stacks looks beautiful but the looks doesn't match the taste. All I can taste is the sweet chilli sauce and cream. Will I order this again definitely not
Great little spot for coffee and food! We got the French toast and Chorizo + sweet potato scrambled eggs, both were delicious. It can get a little busy but was definitely worth the wait for a table :
Lots of tourist seem to come here. I came here today and had breakfast. The young girl who served me was lovely. The muesli was okay, overall the food is standard. The coffee was good. The only downside is that this is cash only. The cafe was also very small and gets filled up quickly. Come early is my tip.
The food was good albeit a bit overpriced for a vegan dish. Which just made me feel like this was a kind of place that charged more for catering to vegan people. The pomegranate tea is definitely worth trying.
The waiters asked us to order at the counter and pay first even though everyone else in the restaurant got table service with the waiters coming up to the table to take their order and all other tables paid at the end of their meal. Not sure if its because we are asian and maybe the waiter was being racist because the table next to us were caucasian and got really good service. We felt we were really singled out compared to every other customer which made our first experience our last. Not sure what we did to make the waiters feel like we didn’t deserve the same service as everyone else Also they only take cash which is inconvenient. Other than that, food was really good and came out within 15 minutes. Tea was nice and cookie was nothing special.
Cosy, delightful cafe on the main street at Katoomba. Warm and welcoming staff, a sunny spot to sit and hearty food served quickly. And the best fresh OJ I’ve had in awhile. Coffee pretty gosh darn good as well!
We had a great time at Pomegranate. Floor staff was nice and kind and the general vibe here was calm and pleasant. I has frittata and Blue mountain tea, my mum had some sort of scrambled eggs on toast. There was pieces of bread along with Frittata. Frittata itself was well balanced and delicious but the bread was also soft inside and crunchy outside. They only take cash.
A great little cafe for light meals and coffee. One of the best coffees I’ve had in a very long time, strong, smooth and no bitter after taste. Reasonably priced - large coffee $4.50 TA and $5 sit down.
My partner reckons the museli was the best he ever had!! And the mushroom on toast was very yummy and generous! I only had a pic of my meal but the presentation of the muesli was so beautiful but was demolished so fast
