Twelve Restaurant

We came here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant wasn't busy and they had a $15 pizza/ pasta/ risotto special on their board. This was what brought us in. I had the spaghetti ragu and my partner had the creamy chicken risotto. We had garlic bread too, which was really good it's not like it's difficult to do good garlic bread though. The pasta and the risotto were good. I think that the tomato sauce for the spaghetti could have been a little richer, but the creamy risotto was perfectly balanced. The service was quick and friendly. They don't split bills. They have a cocktail menu, but I'm not sure how good they are, given that it's not really a bar. Overall, it's good value of you get the specials, but not outstanding food.

Got the bacon and mushroom linguine and my partner had a smoothie. The quality was good, not amazing, it's probably only a bit better than what you could make at home. The service was fast enough, although there were only a couple of tables in and one waitress. If you're looking for better/amazing pasta, try The Italian Bowl over the road.

Misleading menu for smoothies not mentioning cow milk and describing only fruits in it. No options for lactose intolerant asked for options and were refused. Staff is always hiding somewhere.

Worst service I have ever experienced - Ordered 4 meals, 3 arrived with no cutlery, after asking only 3 place settings were provided. At this point the waitress had still not mention where the 4th meal was. After a few minutes we suspected it was forgotten so we asked another waitress who said she would check. 15 minutes later she had not come back to explain what was going on. We asked her again and she said it had been forgotten and they were making the meal now. 15 minutes later and still no meal, I asked if I could speak to the manager and was told there was no manager on. This time the man was helpful and got it sorted within 5 minutes, however the waitress dropped meal on the table with a rude apology. When we went to pay we explained what had happened to the manager who had now arrived, but unfortunately he may as well have just ignored us. Meals are not bad, but nothing special and certainly not worth the horrible service. Unbelievable!

These people should really consider hiring a new waitress and work better on their meals. With only 3 tables occupied on a quiet Wednesday night, we had to wait ages to be served. Table next to us, left the cash on the table and left. We went to pay at the counter and no questions about the food, whatever, "soooo..." - she said - we remained quiet, paid and didn't even receive a thank you. To rude and just banal dishes, no hard working on that. Won't go back for sure...

Service was pleasant and the food was good and quick, but quite basic for the price. Nice desserts, and pretty extensive menu especially desserts and drinks. Overall, we had a nice lunch experience here. The place seemed a little at odds with itself though. It has fairly plain furniture and looks like it should be cheap, bustling and busy, but it wasn't. Maybe because we were there at the tail end of lunch time. Maybe because there was rather different crowd to what I would have expected from the decor, at least when we were there. Whatever the reason, it was a little lacking in atmosphere

Well I was shocked after reading these reviews in a good way service was nice polite fast efficient. Starter as you can see were beautiful and presented so well. And they tasted great as well. The main meal was fresh prepared well and extra chilli in my mussels. The taste was great and totally opposite to the reviews guys please give it a try seems a few people may have ruined the image of this place not deserved. Must try I was very satisfied. Menu looked great and we ordered a few items take-away and appreciated the waiter repeating our order to us especially with some of our dietary requirements. We were told it would be a 20 minute so we decided to go for a walk whilst we waited. We came back in 20 minutes and were told that they didn't start cooking the food as we hadn't paid and we had left. It would have been helpful to know the payment was due when the waiter took our order, even though he didn't ask for payment at the time. They had for some reason still made the coffee's that we ordered so we took those they had been sitting out for some time and cancelled our food order as we were running late to meet some people. Disappointed.

Staff are very nice, waiter who served us needs to be more confident when he takes orders. We ordered the Gnocchi Pesto, we asked for Penne pasta instead of Gnocchi. Was literally just carbs drenched in oil, needs to have some chicken, maybe some cherry tomatoes, basil and walnuts added in? It was just too bland. Menu should also provide what is being added in the food so customers know what they are ordering.

food was delicious and fresh, top quality ingredients. service started out friendly but went down hill when I asked to add a red sauce to my dish as it was too plain I should have asked before I ordered The waitress took my plate and said "the kitchen is gonna kill me for returning this but ill see what i can do" felt that was in necessary after i apologized already. My friend asked for another drink but it never came. Also had to ask for the cutlery after the food had arrived and there was only one set of parmasen and chilli shakers that were being passed around from table to table.. this place could be really good if the service was improved.
