Want to enquire about playing a weekend show? If you are an established, well practiced band send an email to [email protected]. Include supporting material and links to your social media. There is a lot of competition for weekend gigs and if you are a newer and/or less popular band please be aware you will most likely be directed towards the open mic before any weekend show is offered - if you think this is you we'd appreciate you saving us the time of checking out material and applying directly to open mic, we do offer weekend gigs to acts that do really well there.

Please note that we do not want cover bands of any kind and we cannot answer your enquiries about booking shows through facebook, you must email directly. Also please note that we are not looking for "background" type acts.

My husband and I have a tradition of going here on Boxing Day and it's always fun. Lots of families and relaxed atmosphere. Food is ordinary pub grub, beer prices seem very reasonable to me.
Funky layout, love the design of the tiered beer garden! Very comfortable and classy lounge area upstairs with very knowledgeable staff! Conor made some great recommendations with the knowledge to back them up! Try the rainbow potion amazing
Looks so small out the front but as soon as you step in the door plus sign in due to covid it opens out to a big bar and seating. As you walk out the back door into open space there are three levels in the open spaces! Great place Also supporting local businesses at this time is an added bonus.
Not the best of the experiences as the staff seemed really sluggish on responding and had to ask twice or thrice for a concern or a beer choice even on a quite Monday. The bars around the place have a much more friendly staff and atmosphere as compared to this place. The drinks were good but the service could have been better.
Comfortable seating upstairs. Better than it has been in a while. Had a very good feed here a few weeks ago. Not keen on cigarette smoke wafting in from outside though.
Classic pub near the station, cheap beers, lovely staff, good pub grub. Loved that I got called "Darling" by the staff. How adorable! Made my cheeks all red.
What is the point of the balcony being a separate smoking section, if you're just going to open all the doors and let the smoke into the rest of the upstairs area including dining area? Also, it defeats the purpose of air conditioning to open the doors and windows when it gets warm. I'd give 4 stars if not for this stupidity.
