In North America the term motor inn often has negative connotations. But, Tropicana is different. As much as it looks like a motor inn they do a lot to improve upon the term. There is a lot of attention to detail in the rooms. Good storage, good use of space, VERY clean rooms and beds, newly renovated rooms and showers... But, there are also small details that are worth noting. Electric blankets, real soap dispensers, Continental breakfast and the friendly owners who made us feel welcomed (but not because some corporation told them it was good). Lovely stay. For a motor inn this is a 5 star!

Ideally situated in Cowes, close to beach and town centre. Staff very friend and helpful. Motel clean, comfortable and well equipped

Always good to stay here. Quiet yet handy to Cowes shops.

Great place, offers rooms from singles up to large families, the rooms are serviced daily by a team of friendly cleaners. The only downside from the whole experience was that the "High Speed internet" was far from, loading a simple page such as Google was a hard experience.
