The unit was great ! Very modern and clean. But, the garden let the whole place down. The garden and pathways were over grown with weeds and rubbish everywhere, pizza boxes, empty drink bottles, supermarket bags, paper. The owners really need to get a garden maintenance company in to keep it looking presentable. We had to carry our belongings in from the front gate because the electronic gate wouldn't open ! Nice unit but, but ....
Lovely spacious rooms, huge bathroom. Clean and tidy, quite comfortable, kitchen and dining area a plus. Decor dated, but good value for money. A good stay. Would loved to have used the gas log fire, but at $30 extra that was rather steep! Made do with wall heater.Rooms: 4/5
Overall disappointing. The property was generally run down - overgrown garden, cracks in driveway with weeds growing out of them, dated/worn out furniture. Overall cleanliness was well below par - hairs in the bathtub/spa, glass for toothbrushes by sink had visible grime in it, outside area dirty - it makes you wonder what was missed that you COULDN'T see. Location was great, but didn't feel comfortable due to cleanliness. Have given three stars due to location and the place being usable enough, tempted to do 2 stars but I'd reserve that for cleanliness levels that would make me leave - it was not good enough, but not bad enough to go somewhere else.
Large rooms, comfortable, great spa bath, sheltered outside patio, great locatiom with a nice walk down to the shops and waterfront. It shows they have put thought put into what you may desire, of the items in the rooms. The only thing I wished for was an ice cube tray :
Great quiet place to stay. Clean and bright. All facilities, dishes, electronic needs available. Off street parking. Close to main street but far enough for quiet. Ease of access in all directions. Very helpful management team. Would recommend to stay for others. Not recommended for children or pets.
Not bad for the price. A little dated in decor but comfortable and lacking nothing to enable a good holiday to be had. Close to shops and located in Cowes so you can walk to everything. Car space provided. We booked online and received SMS on day advising our room was ready and where to find key. Never once saw the owners or management. Would have been nice to say hello to them.
Overall, disgusted and disappointed. From first inspection the "cottage" looked ok despite the fact the the beautify floral entrance pictured was non existent and was all dirt grounds. Slept the night and woke to an ant infestation and discovered the room was actually very dirty. There was a used loafer in the spa. A pump bottle for body wash & coffee and tea bags were in jars and not individually sealed. Old tea towel draped over dish rack. None of which felt very hygienic. I wouldn't call it a 4-Star Hotel. I'd compare it to a cheap and nasty hostel. Never again and certainly wont be recommending this place to anyone.
It's a beautiful, cosy cottage. It has everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom and extras. It's not too big and not too small. Surrounded by it's own nature. Offers more than most motels by having your own oven, bbq, laundry facilities, huge spa and the list goes on and so close to town. We highly recommend as a perfect place to stay on the island. We'll be back.
Very nice accommodation close to sight seeings. Warm-heart manager waited for me coming for check in until every late at night. Many thanks for their good service. Strongly recommended to new travellers for accommodation.
Very outdated, lots of issue with light globes and generally not overly tidy. Fine for a quick stay, location is a 15 minute walk from the centre of town. Would stay again but only if the rates stay VERY affordable.
