My appointment was today at 1 pm and it was really great. The receptionist was lovely and I didn't feel as uncomfortable as i thought going on my own would be and i didn't wait long at all either. My appointment was bang on the appointment time. The person who saw me was really kind and thoughtful and made sure i was as comfortable as possible. This is my first ever type of appointment and im so glad i got to do it here, really set a standard for future appointments i have like this elsewhere. 10 out of 10 would do it again!!
On the 31st Jan I went into TRG for a MRI I am seriously clostrophic....I had the most amazing team whom explained every aspect of the procedure with empathy, kindness and respect. I was offered a oral sedation which I happily took. I am never ever again going to afraid to have an MRI. My praise for TRG will be never-ending
The worst service ever received, reception lady was rude, immature and unprofessional to say the least. I phoned to make a formal complaint to the manager Earland the response was "We'll see what we can do about it" he was defensive and apologized on behalf of the company? It's not the company it's the person who's supposed to be the face of the company. Reception lady from today - Treat people better and equally I'd hate for someone to experience the feeling I went through today especially having my daughter there watching.
The stuff at trg imaging is just wonderful - very kind and helpful & very friendly. My special thanks and kind regards go to the lady radiologist Jean - thank you especially for your beautiful friend way you deal with your patients. You also have a very nice way of communicating all through the treatment procedures. You are doing a wonderful work and are very professional. Thank You & all the best to you all.
I had an excellent experience at TRG Whangarei this morning. Both Michelle and Kristy sorry if spelling incorrect were so professional, welcoming and kind. I felt well looked after and I would happily recommend them to others in need of their services. Thank you team for a wonderful experience.
Fantastic service. I am a three time brain tumour survivor and used to have my scans done in Auckland. Little did I know that the grass is greener right here in Whangarei. Special mention of John, Melinda, Karusha, Ruth and Becky Lewen. Great job.
Not overly impressed. Went in for a follow up ultrasound that I was paying cash for and the lady started, then looked shocked and proceeded to walk off to consult a superior she came back saying "sweet stuff all" except that she couldn't complete my ultrasound so I left. I was very confused shocked and worried. Stupid really as I had an ultrasound previously at another place in kensington and they were awesome they could see heaps and they communicated well, I don't know to this day why they wouldn't do the ultrasound for me. I've had plenty of tests in my life, appointments, medical exams etc including 3 MRIS but never had such weird service.
Needed to have early scan due to previous ectopic pregnancy. I read the other reviews of this place but thought I'd try my luck anyway as they could get me in earliest. On the day of the scan, they rang to say they have to reschedule as the sonographer is sick surely they have more than one?! The earliest they could reschedule me to was 8 days time!! If it is an ectopic, I'd be 8 weeks pregnant by then and facing an emergency situation. Poor service!!!
I required an Xray and MRI scan for a knee problem. The great service started when they offered complete flexibility for my appointment day and time. As I have a busy schedule, and had to drive 2 hours to Whangarei, this was important to me. I arrived a little early, but was taken in straight away for my Xray. Immediately after that I was taken thru to the MRI scanner. From the friendly Kim on the 'phone, to the receptionist, and the wonderful staff operating the Xray and MRI units, all were super friendly, efficient, helpful, and put me completely at ease. Wow!
Generous 1 star. My partner had a follow up scan on our unborn daughter after several measurements were found to be abnormal. We had the same radioligist for both scans but the 2nd time around his frustration and unprofessionalism was unbelievable. He not only was visably frustrated at having to repeat the scan and voiced this frustration but put my partner through such discomfort she fought back tears during the scan and broke down when arriving home. To treat a woman already in fear for her unborn child in such a way is completely unacceptable and to dismiss her concerns during the scan worthy of a formal complaint which I could not convince her to do. I would recommend pregnant woman avoid TRG unless absolutely necessary.
