Dreadful service. I've had to go to West Cumberland Hospital A&E twice now because I couldn't get a GP or asthma nurse appointment. 6 hour wait in A&E just to get the antibiotics and steroids that the GP/ asthma nurse could have given me in 5 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.
Was in this surgery for years until I finally had to move. Some of the GPs were horrendous. Dr. Rushman misdiagnosed my issue 4 times before another dr at Carlisle hospital realised what it was. You ca never get an appointment in the mornings. The practice mixed up my medical records with another patient. Make sure you avoid.
Worst doctors known to man. When they say they’re going to do something ring you back, make follow up appoints etc they don’t. When you trie to get an appoint, it takes 30 minutes to get through for them to say no, and you can’t book one for another day. Such a ridiculous service.
It took twenty minutes for my call to be answered, hence 4 stars. However, I would award the receptionist who took my call & the Advanced Nurse Practitioner 5 stars.
Can't get an appointment for love nor money. Never any appointments left by the time I get through to someone, told to call back next week. Call back next week - same story. Told I can't have a face to face appointment for a problem it is literally impossible to resolve over the phone as I need a doctor to have a look at it. It took a severe infection and near hospitalisation to even get on the list for a call back on a problem that could have been avoided if they had given me an appointment in the first place. Absolutely pointless to be registered with the group in Workington. You will never get service.
After receiving text message to speak to Dr regarding recent scan result, a telephone appointment was made for the following day but got no call back from a GP.?? A further appointment was offered for 2 weeks time but with no apology from reception. Shocking service!! May I suggest better customer service skills required and another line for patient test results
so my mother went there for an appointment but arrived 1 hour early so she told the receptionist and then went to sit down and wait and then it was time for my mothers appointment and nothing then when she told the receptionist she said that my mother should have told her again and that its her fault for not reminding her again. absolutely idiotic and annoying

Its genuinely worrying the lack of service at this practice. It needs to go into a kind of special measures due the lack of ability and care. If you have blood tests etc and they get flagged as urgent you should really get a call back from a Doctor instead nothing happening and you spending literally days on the phone in a queue system that constantly drops your call. For your safe health i would avoid.
They don’t answer your calls for appointments.. guys if you want another receptionist I’m signed off but I’ll happily work for you so I can get appointments at least
