Got rebuild job done my thumb joint and independent suspension fixed up on it.nTiming, totally impressed, got the Approval on Monday rang in with the number, joked about having a couple of hours free tomorrow, so did the surgeon, in and done. Smallish cuts, no real scars, and a massive reduction in pain, GREAT,nNursing care, really careful and attentive, still dont know how I ended up fully dressed after the operation, maybe best not to ask.nFollow up, as per the above.nYes it costs via the insurance, but it buys you better quality of life, at a time when you need it.nThanks folks.

**Update**nI didn't end up needing surgery. But I was continued to be treated with the upmost respect and care.nI will definitely recommend this doctor to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon.nnThis was my first visit to Northland Orthopedics. Since I was there due to a bad fall and my back is a real mess, going to a doctor's office could have been miserable. Just being in a car is misery.nBut the staff up front, I think they are called PA's but I'm new to this country so I'm not 100% positive about that.nThe PA's were, friendly, welcoming, professional and they had all the paperwork ready for me to fill out. I was asked if it would be easier, for my pain, to fill the forms out standing up or sitting down. Something I've never been asked at a doctors office I've had 14 surgeries and 7 knee surgeries, so I'm no stranger to doctor's officesnI don't know why they wouldn't just do this automatically, everywhere?nConsidering, for the most part, by the time you're at an orthopedic surgeon's office, you are probably in bad pain.nThis may seem very trivial but it made me feel cared for and validated.nnI was fully expecting a long wait. With COVID back and the Northland being at level 2, I thought it would take a while.nI was very wrong, as soon as I was finished filling out the paperwork, my doctor, Erin, came out and got me.nnErin was very professional, listened well and gave me the feeling of being heard as well as cared for. He seemed very trustworthy.nA lot of doctors that I've dealt with in the past were awful at listening. I really appreciated his candor.nHe tried to be as gentle as he could which was great. He then ordered the tests I need.nnThis is early days with this doctor. But if his staff and his demeanor is any indication of what I can expect, I feel I'm in very good hands.nnI will update this review after I see him again. I'm giving four stars because I really don't know enough at this point to give five.nnI've given 5 stars now. I've seen Erin, Mr. Ratahi, 3 times now. This last time was due to me injuring my bad knee while doing phisio. Erin treated me with respect and kindness again. He ordered an MRI for me which I got within the week! I really can't say enough good things about this doctor and his staff. I definitely think he's one of the good ones!
Acl reconstructionnI had my acl repaired by Dr Bradley. Every step went perfect. I got my knee back and it works better than ever. Clean. Easy. Fast. Professional. On schedule. Recomended.
My wife recently had surgery on her shoulder by Dr Mark Hirner....absolutely brilliant surgeon....must be the best in the business
