This hotel is perfect for enjoying an awesome neighborhood of Melbourne. It was my first time in Australia, and this hotel's location was the perfect home base for exploring coffee, food, and the beautiful riverwalk. The room was so comfortable, and it had everything I needed for a great night's sleep! I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Melbourne.
This place has drastically improved over the last five years I’ve been coming to Melbourne for work. The staff is friendly and has increased in numbers over the years. My only concern is the showers are a bit small and only have a rain shower head, which was about 5cm from my head not sure if this was isolated to my room or the level one.
A great location, with the bonus of the trams stopping right outside. Allow 30 mins to travel into the city centre. Clean and efficient throughout. Very helpful and friendly reception team. Enjoyed dinner on our evening arrival. Possibly the best fish & chips I’d had in Oz, this trip - and I’m a Brit, so I should know!! Also loved a long walk along the Yarra footpath, very close by. Will be returning to Melbourne on business in the future and this hotel will be at the top of our list.
The room was quite nice, the bed was probably the highlight of the stay. Ordered room service and entree was amazing but the main of fish and chips wasn’t. The fish wasn’t edible and was constantly sick all night. Disappointing considering the price of the menu.Rooms: 5/5
Went in for the $20.00 Pot and Pizza deal to be told it had ended. We insisted we only saw the add last week. Three conversations later the waitress agreed to do the deal for us but as it was 12.0.clock we had to sit until 1pm as the kitchen wasn't ready to serve pizza yet. We sat and waited and at 1pm we ordered. The pizzas came out, the underside was pretty much stodgy/raw the topping was Tom, cheese, 4 pieces of zucchini, 3 pieces of eggplant, l found some onion and a mushroom in there. Pot was only 2 choices of beer pretty poor. Service was pretty much non existent between the waitresses putting cutlery away and chatting at the coffee area.
Our good first impression of a nicely appointed hotel was spoiled by two nights of poor sleep due to noisy environment. Despite having asked for a quiet room we were given a room above the outdoor entertainment area with loudspeakers all around it. The music was relentless for several hours during the evening. On the second day we got a notification from the management about a function being held until 11.30pm. You really have to check what functions are on before booking if you're after a good night's sleep. However, I must say the manager apologised when we contacted them about it.
Beautiful hotel which is easily accessible. Rooms are cosy and has a lovely balcony attached to enjoy a drink or read a book. 2 bedroom apartments are also available. Staff were friendly and service oriented. Breakfast doesn't have a big variety, nevertheless descent enough. A kettle and tea/coffee making facility is provided in the room. Cosy beds and clean linen and the bathroom too. Easy access to McDonald's 2 minutes walk , Shopping mall 12mints walk. You can even go for Walks and cycling along the Yarra River.
Great location for Melbourne CBD activities. Staff are very polite and helpful. The hotel has all the facilities you would want in one location, restaurant, bar, room service and car parking. This has become our go to accomodation for a stay in Melbourne
A top tier appearing hotel from their exterior and location to middle tier styled accomodation, I can’t truly fault this hotel. Their coffees are made quite nicely and their other food options are quite nice for a hotel. The hotel is also situated near a river that is lovely to walk along. If you’re needing to stay at a hotel near the Hawthorn/Richmond area, I would highly recommend this one. It is around twenty minutes drive to Melbournes Central Business District CBD.
Helpful staff. Very nice accommodation. Great location and a tram stop right outside. No issues whatsoever. Happy to recommend.Rooms: 5/5
