It was a quiet day when I visited, and I was the only customer at the time. This means that the food came really quickly and the staff had the time to be attentive.nThe food was pretty good, for basic fish and chips and the portions were generous enough. The prices have gone up since the days of my youth, but that's unavoidable, and it was cheaper than some others.

So got some chicken and chips today with some wedges thought I was gonna have a mean feed, so I was eating in the half light and all was going well, I had a very big nice looking thigh and i bite a piece off and it was half cooked inside RAW very gross and it had to be chicken. No hard feelings was just very hungry and then......not so much. I'll have to try the fish and chips next time

SO SO GOOD AND EVERYONE IS LOVELY. Hot dog 10/10 they use the big ones. Good sized chip scoop as well not stingy at all. Staff are so amazing!

Very good fish and chips! I wish Auckland could offer the same quality. Sun 3pm.

We are now for 4 years and 7 months in NZ. We visit the top town take away in Coromandel Town.nWe order Hamburgers. THIS WAS THE MOST DELICIOUS burgers ever. Every thing on the burger was fresh.nWe highly recommend this little friendly place for a unforgettable experience.
