This is the only place open after 3pm even during the week to stop in and get a coffee haha! So I am only rating on a sit down coffee and a choccie bar! It's probably meant to serve better as a breakfast, lunch or dinner restaurant but it sure filled a hole for us when we just wanted to have an arvo caffiene fix. Where we are from we weren't used to cafes shutting so early so it was great to be able to come in here just for a cafe style visit in their restaurant It was a nice relaxed vibe with tables and booths. Made a mean hot chocolate for the kids too!
Staff members are always lovely and welcoming, so the place has got great energy and atmosphere. Like today, a lady there was really helpful to let us know where to go / what to do. Food is brilliant. I had the warm vegetables salad with lamb. The lamb was soooo tender!!
Great place to eat. Fantastic service and food was devine. Pork hock is amazing! Partner had 1kg Mussels which she said were lovely and tasty. Can be a bit hot inside to eat in summer, could do with some ceiling fans. Other than that will be back again.
Hi Star & Garter team,nWe visited today around 3pm with our kids and ordered the adult BBQ Pork Ribs $35 and the kids BBQ Pork Ribs $15.nUnfortunately the meal was quite disappointing for the price:n• The adult portion came with only 3 ribs and the kids portion with just 1 rib.n• There was no fresh slaw or salad served with either meal the menu lists “fries & fresh slaw” for the adult version.n• We were left quite hungry and felt the value for money was poor, especially paying $68ntotal for the two rib meals and drinksnnWe love the relaxed vibe of your pub and have heard good things about your ribs in the past, so we were really looking forward to them. Had one of their pizzas buffalo something and I’m pretty sure it was the best pizza of my life. 10/10, no notes. Had a few pints and a couple of games of pool and very much enjoyed ourselves. Great vibes, cool interior, friendly staff, plenty of space. Absolutely worth a visit.
