It's been a while since I've had some really good f&c, and this was great. Maybe it's the small town setting vs the big city, but the fish was fresh and the chips were a generous portion. Also, the wrapping up of the food was well done - kept it tight and tidy. Some places can be a bit shoddy.nThere was a steady stream of customers, which kept the staff busy - but that's a good sign.
It's delicious! The portions are more than generous. It's a great spot for really good fish and chips.
Came here for lunch. Had fish and chips box. Great value food very fresh and lots of it. Sat in the sun and watched the world go by
I wanted to show my girlfriend our NZ Seafood she is Thai we ordered crumbled Snapper, a few scallops, oysters and mussels. The owner was very friendly and cooked it just right. I asked for lemon he apologised and told us he didn't have any then as we were eating left the shop and came back with some for us from the supermarket which he cut up and gave free. Such a nice experience and delicious fresh food. I will be going back for sure
Couldnt decide between 5 and 4 star for these guys so gave them 5 for their nice service and their great food. 2 fish and 2 chip was $31 but I guess thats what you pay these days. Quality was high beautiful crumbed fish tasted fresh and gave us pretty much 3 instead of the 2 we ordered. Heaps of chips and tasty.
