Neighborhood wine shop and bar specializing in boutique producers from near and far.

Story

Toorak Cellars is both a bottle shop and wine bar located just opposite Toorak station on Beatty Ave. Our aim is simple: to source, acquire and serve to you, the best wines we can find at any given price point, from near and far. Whether it be something to accompany a mid-week pizza, or Grand Cru Burgundy, we believe that every wine on our shelves should speak loudly of the dirt in which it was grown and most importantly... be delicious.

In the bar we serve a constantly changing 20 wines by the glass, or you can open any bottle straight off the shelf. We don't have a kitchen, but if you're hungry we have some creative ways of feeding you. Great wine is for everyone, and everyone is welcome. See you soon at the Cellars!

Love this little hidden gem. Great for a relaxing casual glass and nibble. Fabulous for their wine master classes. I see my first review was 4 years ago and my pate and champers brunch today was just as wonderful as then! And again.. I keep coming back whenever in the area. For ages I wanted to patronise this establishment in the evening having only visited at daytime. The atmosphere is kicking! You can order food from next door including gluten free pizza as well as select from a small menu.nWe came here for the wine. Ordered a bottle of prosecco. Before we knew it they had opened it and ran the tab and it cost $140. I would not have ordered it had they said that was the price. I think that is really poor service.
So I went 10 years ago. Yes, you heard that right, a full decade. I went mainly for rare, hard to find, or unique wines, beers, not found elsewhere. It was also the venue i first learned of orange wine. From my memory, it was always a good venue to get quality bottle shop take homes, over the generic tried, true and tested. Nope, sorry, edit. 12 years ago.
