The owner couple is really nice and friendly, providing definitely awesome food with good skills. You can feel the passion and the love of cooking from the chef. It is a must go place for good Japan food in Melbourne. I love it, will back again soon!

An experience that you’d find in a high end Japanese restaurant in Tokyo tells only part of the story... Yuji and Youngsun are warm and welcoming hosts who present you with an Omakase (chef’s selection) that varies with the seasons and quality of produce available at the time. This was my third time returning and each time I marvel at Yuji’s incredible ability to create dishes with such balance they delight my senses and transport me back to Japan. Treat yourself to Yuji’s mastery; you will not regret it! Truly a new baseline for Japanese in Australia. Thank you for bringing your passion and hospitality to Melbourne and I eagerly look forward to coming back!

Yuji-san serves up some of the best sushi in Melbourne. The Omakase is of great quality at a good price point, and dessert is always fabulous!

Outstanding. Great sushi and a nice ambience. I can’t recommend this enough. Some of the best sushi I’ve had outside of Japan without needing to sell a kidney to pay for it. The omakase takes away all the issues with needing to choose!
