Don't expect anything too posh, that’s not how we roll. We’re into good times and great food. Like a bull in a china shop, our passion for classic dining and fine drinks is out of control.

A beautiful gin bar and restaurant. The gin list was very very extensive… but you have fantastic servers who are able to remember them all and recommend certain flavours to suit your taste. Who knew there were so many combinations to be had from floral to fruity to peppery? The experience of mixing your own deconstructed gin, botanicals and tonics was such a fun! And it was quite amazing how tweaking one aspect changes the flavours. Highly highly recommended for gin lovers out there. The food was pretty good too - my favourite was the lamb which was so soft and delicious. The place itself was beautiful and perfect for a nice night out with friends or a date. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoors is quite noisy because it’s next to another bar with live music but indoors is more quiet for conversations. If you sit near the bar, you can admire the beautiful cocktails they produce. Great place! Must return to try more gin flavours…
Famous for its selection of Gin… but we just came for the delicious Tapas! This has an easy and breezy atmosphere, a good place for a date night or dinner with friends/colleagues. Not really like Spanish tapas - which are normally smaller portions and more bite sized so you can have a greater selection, but a good local adaptation. Recommended!
Great gin selection beautifully presented. Can't say I'm ordinarily a big fan of gin but this was a great experience that I would be happy to repeat. Snacks were a little expensive for size. They are closing end of October '23. Understandably they are sold out on part of their otherwise enormous selection of gins.
Creative cocktails We went here for cocktails and small plates of food before we went to dinner. Sat inside there is outdoor dining. Food excellent and cocktails lots of choices mostly gin. Sourdough bread next level. The restaurant is sophisticated and the atmosphere nice. Good place for a date lots of tables for two. Courtyard better for groups. It would have rated higher but the staff are really pushy on drinks and food, interruption conversations. A few staff came to our table with the same questions about more drinks but was still drinking our first cocktail. It made it uncomfortable. In my view there were too many staff on duty that night. Perfect customer service. Waiters knowledgeable, friendly and approachable but not overbearing, a fine art. Food was delicious and everything was beautifully presented. Even tailored the courses and how they brought out the dishes based on what we ordered. Felt like dining from a set menu there was so much thought behind which dish to bring next. The extensive gin menu was a delight to explore and the waiter was helpful in tailoring ones choice. Would definitely return again and again. A must visit.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner and Gin experience at this fine - ish dining little spot! The friendly experienced waiter asked all the right questions and served the perfect gin. The cod with lobster bisque was amazingFood: 5/5
Talk about a gem. I'd never heard of Tipsy Bull before but I can see it quickly becoming one of my favourite places for a night out. From the gin boards to the AMAZING food coming out of the kitchen, the entire experience from start to finish is amazing. The price is reflective of quality here and I would highly recommend everyone give Tipsy Bull a go, even if you're not typically a gin drinker!
Beautiful restaurant and absolutely outstanding food! The flavours were amazing and the experience was topped off with Matthew, truly one of the most delightful, attentive and caring waiters I have ever had the experience of being served by. Will be back!Food: 5/5
What an amazing experience! Lovely professional staff, the gin plate experience was so good I had to take 2 of them! Food was phenomenal! We had the chef's special and love every single plate of it! Will definitely be coming back often!
WHERE: Braddon, Canberra WHO: Tipsy Bull WHAT: Gin Bar with fabulous food I literally have to visit everytime I'm in Canberra. My fave place there. Fabulous drinks over 300 Gin choices alone!, food is always amazing and the staff and setting are wonderful. We have never booked but have always got a table outside large umbrellas and heaters in winter but if you want to be inside definitely book ahead as they are very popular x Street parking available.
