The Civic Pub

Good atmosphere. Sat on street 'beer garden' which gives that city vibe some like. Always feel a bit jostled trying to get a drink at the bar though.

A local pub with all of the dark atmosphere that is associated with these places. Noisy, smelly and uninviting. Nice staff and cold beer. Food is also available and it is possible to sit at some pretty uncomfortable tables either side of the footpath immediately outside the front door. Convenient licenced drinking location. Certainly not a destination. Parking is difficult and there are much nicer places to eat and drink.

Convenient pub located near other bars and restaurants. Plenty of pool tables and variety of beers on tap. Bit dark and dingy but reminiscent of ye ol' pubs of the 90s with the tacky carpet and wood panels. Just a bit confused about the mirrors above the bar, not sure of their purpose other than to check out a nice rack?

You hungry? This place serves a good size meal and the service is friendly. Kind of old school pub/club vibe, great for lunch or dinner with a group of friends, and they have pool tables!! Rumour has it they have a private room upstairs that can be used for functions which is reasonably priced too. Tradies love to sit at the front tables and enjoy a well deserved after work bevvie. ITW- down to earth

Their Wednesday 15 dollar parmy deal is amazing. Nice beers on tap too
