Had a lovely dining experience at Akiba. The food is absolutely amazing. Love all the dishes that we ordered, especially the wagyu beef skirt, beef ribs, Japanese fried chicken, hazel nut tart. And service is also exceptional, Audrey is just lovely! Will definitely come back again when we visit Canberra!
We had a great time celebrating my 25th birthday here! The staff well all lovely, so bright, full of great character and they were incredibly accommodating. Thus, making our group of nine all feel well looked after, meaning we were able to enjoy ourselves all the more. Chatting away and trying new foods, it was the best birthday.nnI couldn’t get a photo of all the food, but we had the 10 course feast and it was AMAZING!nnBig thank you to Willow, and all the staff on that night for making it so fantastic.
Had dinner at Akiba on our family break in Canberra. Willow, our dining room attendant was absolutely delightful. Great with recommendations, patient and fantastic with our kids. We had the pork belly buns and the Balmain bug buns, both of which were delicious. Must try. The miso dengaku eggplant and the prawn crispy rice were tasty with interesting textures. For sharing plates we had the beef short rib and the fried rice. The beef was a tad dry but served in a nice soupy gravy and the rice was a bit hard for my liking. Overall a pleasant experience made really special by Willow.
Enjoyed a Friday night dinner whilst on a weekend away from Sydney with the family. Although traffic was hectic and parking was scarce was met with the most lovely and hospitable hostess, Molly who served us on the night. Was an absolute delight and accommodating with our queries. We ordered the Lux and normal Feed Me set menu. It was filling and delicious. Few favourites of mine were the Tuna Tartare, Korean beef tar tar, balmain bug bun, miso dengaku eggplant and wagyu beef skirt. Lol. I pretty much listed the whole menu. Annnnd I really enjoyed the Miso magnum!! Yum!! Food plus amazing service made the experience even more enjoyable. Thanks again!
The place is amazing — perfect for friends and family dinners, or even birthday celebrations. The food is absolutely delicious; I really love the taste and quality. On top of that, their service is best-in-class. Special thanks to Molly, who made our dining experience extra memorable with her warm and attentive service.nnHighly recommended!
