Beijing-inspired fusion bar bites and cocktails. Got the Tini and the Panda Diplomacy cocktails- JJ made them really strong, and it might have been because we were the only customers in the bar at the time, but we were more than happy with that! The owner of the bar, JJ, was also front-of-house, and she was really friendly and readily gave recs for a good evening out in Canberra. Definitely recommend those cocktails for anyone who loves a good fusion cocktail, and have a chat with JJ if you can’t decide what you’d like.
Food is amazing, drinks cocktails are amazing, service is very slow though. They aren’t that busy tonight no one inside, at least four tables free outside, and quite a small space, yet almost an hours wait for food!!
Small portion sizes - $15 for 7 dumplings is not good value. Especially when the dumplings are not great to begin with undercooked, spicy sauce essentially water, etc... Really not good enough when there are way better options only a few steps away. But it's only their first week open, so hopefully they'll get better.
Just average... I asked the waiter if he would recomend the congee he said wouldn't serve that to his biggest enemy. The bao was dry, the chineese buritto was tasteless, dessert was deep fried balls of cream cheese it wasn't even sweet. I also think that all the food was reheated and not cooked on the spot.
The cocktails were awesome, like nothing I'd tried before. There's a spicy lychee one which I totally recommend. They use all imported liquor from China. So cool.
My friend and I got verbally abused by a lady claiming to be the owner. She used absolutely revolting language and physically stopped us from leaving. All because we used the shared bathroom with the bar next door which we had been at throughout the night. The bar staff apologised and told us to go out the back. However this does not excuse her dispicable behaviour. We believe she was intoxicated or under the influence. We also think she acted this way because we were young and alone.
Food is absolutely delicious. Great selection of beer, wine and cocktails. The service is above and beyond
Cool, funky new age Chinese inspired food and cocktails. Great vibrant atmosphere and not to loud music so you can hear others talk.
Tried out Sanya Bar as they had a 20% off deal on Dimmi. Good service and nice cocktails, but food was average.
Hands down my favourite place in the city. Great atmosphere, incredible service, delicious food. The burgers are a must try.
