Good fast service. Looked all around for a rental and thrifty was the only one who would give us a reasonable price. We were looking last minute, so only had a Yaris available, but it did the job. Just make sure you fill up to at least three quarters before returning, otherwise they charge you $3+ per litre to fill the car up from their own pump

Good can we rented at an ok price
However the return and petrol scam spoiled it, we filled both tanks to over fill 300m away from depot.
We were then charged 25.00 for 7 litres of diesel.....

Also the insurance premium cover is ridiculous but they all are up to this nonsense now, shop around and avoid this place is my opinion

NRMA supplied hire car while our own vehicle was off the road. Car stank of cigarette smoke and had a flat 5 minutez after leaving yard.

As with another renter I was completely brushed off by unsympathetic and uncaring staff. In fact the particular woman serving seemed to enjoy refusing rental of the car despite the fact that I have been regularity renting every month for nearly two years. I had dealt with this particular woman before and found her to be rude abrupt and a liar, I wish I could post her name. More so it is ghe regular refusal to acknowledge that I am continual return customer probably spending over $5000 so far. Today was last straw in refusing to bflivd that both my wife and I had renewed our licences, Thrifty Fremantle you have just lost a long term client

Despite allowing the option to book a rental at age 21 with the selection of adding probationary plates for an added charge, staff refused to take my licence, canceled my booking in front of me and left me stranded. The staff provided no alternative option and were extremely unsympathetic of the circumstance they put me in. Why have the option to book plates if you only take full licence drivers?
