I dislike this school. I went here and it was just boring, no excursions, nothing to do. Not even colour run, anything like that. I also got teased and bullied and it’s extremely hard to make friends. My prep teacher put me in time out so many times, for no reason.I didn’t really learn much either. I had to move schools and I feel like the one I’m at now is better than this. The only thing I like is the big amount of space and how we learn aboriginal language. Honestly, your kids are free to go here, not my choice, but I honestly dislike it.
The WORST school ever!!! Teachers are very lazy and dumb. Their poor teaching standard gives the students lesser chance to learn and develop. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!!
Friendly, lively school with strong sense of community and diverse families. Arts, craft and music were a strong draw for us. Four years in and we're happy - and so are the kids. TPS feels like a village school in a way - smaller, relaxed. Great parent involvement, plenty going on and the staff are committed and approachable
I went here and it was terrible. Was in the Steiner stream and learnt nothing and was bullied. When I was bullied the school told my mum and I that ‘they are just kids and learning’ yet when we told teachers we were told as young kids ‘don’t come to us you have to learn to look after yourself’ I kid you not. Also made my mum get a private tutor because it wasn’t their problem. Don’t go here.
This school is just wonderful. My kids have thrived both academically and socially at TPS. The teachers are all so dedicated to this unique little school and it shows in their care for the students and parents. The art, music and indigenous culture programs are a huge plus for us. The community is beautiful. I really can't rate it highly enough.
Great down to earth community feel school. Big draw for us was that there were teaching a local language and the principal is just amazing. Really caring. I knew from seconds stepping into the premises that this is for us. 6 months in and our kid loves it!
I love this school. They have an awesome Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander curriculum and strong sense of community. The arts and music programs are fantastic and the new principal is a nice guy who is doing great things.
Fantastic school, friendly staff, my son has a great teacher as well. I love the atmosphere there, the curriculum has a very artistic 'leaning'.
