Moreland City Council - Moreland Civic Centre

How dare Moreland Council dump Christmas decorations in 2017. Christmas is a tradition that has been celebrated in Australia for generations. I hope these Councillors will be working Christmas Day and Boxing day - how dare they take any time off for a tradition they don't believe in. I hope too they are not planning any family gatherings, work functions, and are not buying gifts for their family members. Also I hope their living rooms are bare of Christmas trees, lights and nativity scenes. I am absolutely outraged. Christmas is an Australian tradition, if you don't believe in it, you're free not to celebrate but denying the rest of us the joy of celebrating it is disgraceful. You should all be sacked, can't believe where this country is heading.

The City of Moreland is the butt capital of Australia. Let me explain on any given day visitors, shoppers, bankers and shop vendors, café’ people or restaurateurs routinely stand outside the shops and businesses or in neglected lane ways in the Municipality of Moreland and smoke their cigarettes and speckle the concrete paths and bluestone gutters with an artistic yet sombre far away reflection. Let me give you an example. The ladies of Moreland are the most gorgeous depositors of butts into the streets, gutters and lane ways. They take their final drag and bend delicately at the waste and see the butt tumble in a butt over blaze motion depending whether the but sticks slightly to the thumb or pointer figure of their beautifully manicured left hand. Carefully twist their shoe on the material to extinguish the blaze without damaging the plastic material hidden within the butt. I call out, “lady your butt just dropped”. They turn around and smile knowing that the one they own either has or has not yet. They are truly adding to the canvas of Moreland. As I look down Sydney Rd Coburg and the various lanes that run off with a bohemian and Social Security feel I cannot help butt wonder at the speckled tan butt carpet which lay before me. As I come to your municipality I look at the bland concrete paths the buttless environment and cannot help butt feel you could learn a lot from the multiartistic people Moreland CC people.
