These workers do their best under the harshest of circumstances-not enough resources, cutbacks, treading a fine line so as to include the public and not alienate them. I am happy at the way they have liaised with me and kept me informed. The Department has lost a lot of professionally qualified staff over the years and this dates back to the Kennett era; if you have a problem with the Department ask to speak with the Team Leader and if you are not satisfied with his/her response see your local State MP. Negative comments on this site help nobody.

Not all but a fair share of these workers go outside the realms of being professional. And i believe that children are being looked over because the adopt a kind of god syndrome where they will seek out problems if they are proven to be wrong. In March this year on the school holidays!!, they expressed concerns about my kids absences from school.. reason being, they are all unexplained.. Me being shocked at this especially since i had ph records showing more than 26 calls to the schools. So i rang, clearly upset.. they said they did not know what i was talking about. Hmmm. So then i get a letter stipulating that they want a visit. After they interview my kids at school and find nothing..they said that they wanted to discuss my daughters absences the year before in the last 3 months of GRADE 6...When i was on crutches due to an accident that cut through my foot to the bone. She had moved onto YR 7 and her attendance was almost perfect give or take a day or two..due to womans problems.! Thier next Bull was that my son had missed half a term with no contact with the school. In actual fact i had rang my sons actual grade teacher to tell her that he stepped on a piece of glass and had cut half of his heal off, which i provided pictures of. And because of a LACK OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE SCHOOL SEEN THE MOBILE PSYCHOLOGY NAZI THAT VISITS THE SCHOOL ONCE A WEEK...ringing me and telling me that shes concerned that im just keeping him home..

There is no words to describe the disgraceful behaviour of these people. Marita & Jessica tried to help. Effie said she is not there to support me as she is my children's case worker. So where do I go now?

thank god i don't need to use their services, but unfortunate family do rely on them only bad thing is not close enough to busy preston market for those in need for them
