The Welcome Hotel

Cosy little pub with a restaurant attached. I haven't eaten at the restaurant part yet but they served food in the bar. The pub area is quite small with just a smattering of tables, and seating along the bar. There's also a couch with a low coffee table. Bar menu had some typical fare like burgers, fish and chips, a meat pie, but also a few things from their restaurant menu like a pasta dish and also a special. They also do a cheese board with other nibbles, and some more unusual things like goat's cheese stuffed zucchini flower battered and deep fried. Food is quite nice but more than you'd typically spend for food in a pub. Beer selection is pretty good for a small place, craft beers in different styles. Overall it's a pleasant place to grab a few drinks for a quiet evening but not for big groups.

Interior not realy big enough for 3 kids and 4 adults to eat on a Sunday. I advise you to book for outside or go to Dicks. That apart the beer and service here is great and they understand the beers they sell - all good quality to suit your taste. Food ranges from bar grub to special cooked choices.

Calling all craft beer lovers. They have a regular rotating tap of some of the best local craft beer available. Great beer garden and dogs are welcome, which is good considering they have a dog on their logo. There is an attached Italian restaurant and honest good pub grub. Their burgers are delicious. Don't forget trivia night if you fancy trying to recreate an object from Aluminium foil. Great afternoon in the sun or take a position on the comfy couch near the bar.

Great local watering hole with an excellent selection of craft beers. The local wines are good too. The decor and music are great, and the bar staff are lovely, so friendly and helpful. We sat inside on our visit to enjoy the bustling atmosphere but there's also a courtyard which looked cool. Our new local go to for craft beer

Great beer selection, fantastic food (everyone HAS to try the zucchini flowers!), good atmosphere. This is an all round good venue.
