It’s a nice looking pub. We went for the Sunday Roast but got a plate full of odd food choices. Amazing meat but the mustard gravy all over everything was too much it ruined the cabbage. Fancy who knows what they are Root vegetables baked and dry Yorkshire pudding with a lot of sour cream on it. It was all too much fancy and not enough like a Sunday roast. Perhaps bring it back a bit and people will enjoy it a bit more instead of leaving their plates half full of food like us and two other tables did.

Such an underrated place!! I haven't eaten downstairs in the pub yet but the upstairs dining room has consistently great service and food. The wine list is wonderful too. They do change the menu here often to keep options fresh; you can never go wrong with the salmon or steaks! I do agree with a previous reviewer; it can get hot upstairs in summer, so try and sit by the air conditioning unit (that's what we did) :)

Outstanding service. My steak was not so great but spoke to management and they were receptive to feedback and concerned and offered up free dessert. Service and atmosphere 10/10 hubby's lamb pie was 10/10

Superb angel pasta. Superb champagne by the glass - I think it was French(?). Superb bread and butter pudding. Knowledgeable, tactful and discreet waiter. Food was a little slow in coming - 30+ minutes. But well worth the wait.

Just go here for the roast potatoes.. Epic. Service by the Irish lady is so friendly. I wish the mains were bigger for the price but overall great food.
