We were acknowledged as soon as we walked through the door even though staff were busy and we were welcomed and escorted to our table promptly. The service was good, staff were friendly and they didn't rush us which added to the overall dining experience. The food was lovely, well presented and delicious. We shared a starter which was a good call as it was quite big. Our mains were equally filling and very tasty. But it didn't stop us ordering a dessert. All in all, the staff, ambience, food. ....Divine. My only negative about this evening was that the seating area upstairs was cold compared to downstairs.

Stopped in for hot chocolate and cake after dinner. Beautiful building, lovely and warm and cosy on a cold Christchurch night. Nice and rich hot choc and very yummy choc peppermint slice.

Excellent early morning service.. 7am coffee is brilliant. Menu is varied. Good quality. Friendly staff and super clean toilets.
