If you want to know what it feels like to be treated like royalty, book a room here. Seriously, I've stayed in a few fancy joints in my time, but this place takes the cake.nnFrom the moment you walk in, the service is impeccable. Like, they've got this knack for anticipating your every need before you even know you have one. You feel like you're the only guest in the entire hotel, even though it's buzzing.nnThe rooms? Every detail, from the linens to the artwork, is top-notch. It's like stepping into a design magazine, but you can actually live in it. And the hotel itself? A masterpiece. Every corner you turn, there's something else beautiful to look at.nnBut it's the service that really sets this place apart. They know how to treat their guests, plain and simple. It's not just about being polite, it's about making you feel genuinely welcome.nnHonestly, I can't fault a thing. If you're heading to Hobart and want to treat yourself
Loved this hotel. Stayed a few nights at the beginning and end of our Tasmania trip. The first room was great, in the new part of the hotel. The second room was a fantastic upgrade as gold members, in the old part of the hotel. Very large with huge bathroom and fireplace. Service excellent throughout, including room service which catered your request for a huge bucket of ice. We did not try the restaurant but did enjoy cocktails at the sleek underground bar with a luxe speakeasy vibe. Location perfect. One request: get rid of the single use plastic water bottles and give refilled glass ones- or fit refill stations instead. There is 10min drop off parking outside the front.
I have worked in high end hotels. I have also stayed in many high end resorts.nnThe Tasman easily falls in the top end of the scale. The service was impeccable, the location for us was prime, the breakfast was extensive but would be keen to see if they rotate their hot options.nnWe had the rooms in the heritage building which I honestly prefer.nnWould definitely reccomend and would stay at again.
-We opted for the harbor view room which was spacious enough and offered great views of the pier.n-Breakfast had locally sourced dishes and everything was tasty.nGreat hotel would definitely come back when in Hobart.
What a stunning Hotel.nnGreat location just up from the wharf and markets. Daniel at reception was super accommodating as we had just come off the overland trek with pre dropped bag and late check out.nnRooms are first class and bathrooms amazing. So nice to have this level of service and treated so well even after coming in 7 days after trekking in full gear.nnThis goes a long way with me and will definitely spread the word and stay again.
