We had an incredible stay at Mövenpick Hobart. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond—special thanks to Jess and Monica for helping with our room upgrade.nnThe room was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, and, as someone who is very particular about pillows and mattresses, I was pleasantly surprised by how well I slept during our entire 7-day stay.nnThe room service and housekeeping teams were impressively efficient. No matter the time or request, they were always quick to respond. This was especially important for me, as I’m very particular about having an impeccably clean bathroom and toilet, and they never disappointed.nnWe also thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. Adrian and his team at the restaurant were wonderfully warm and attentive, making sure my 4-year-old’s ice cream requests were perfectly handled.nnThank you once again for the fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be returning on our next visit to Hobart!
We were very impressed. The room was excellent, well appointed and comfortable, except the bed pillows were too big and hard. The staff were all excellent, attentive and friendly. The position is good enough as Hobart is a small town and it is central, although we spent most of our time around Salamanca and the harbour. Highly recommended and very good value.
We had an overall very pleasant experience at the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We were fortunate to have one of the rooms with a balcony, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. The room facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained, adding to our comfort.nnHowever, the parking situation was a bit disappointing. While I understand that parking can be limited in the city, I was informed that the hotel offers parking but was not made aware that it was valet-only. This led to a 25-minute wait for our car on one occasion, which was inconvenient and impacted our plans. It would be helpful if staff clearly communicated the details of the parking arrangements to guests when inquiries are made.nnDespite this, our stay was very enjoyable, and we appreciated the attentive service. We would gladly return, with a clearer understanding of the parking system next time.
Great centrally located motel. Easy walking access to shops and restaurants. The motel restaurant has friendly and helpful staff. A good variety of cuisines on offer with a selection of locally brewed beers on tap. Parking is restricted to valet parking only. All over I would definitely recommend considering this motel for your stay in Hobart.
Staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. We've stayed in places where you have to turn off the room fridge at night because of its noise. Not this place. You wouldn't have known there was a fridge in the room. The bathroom was lovely and clean and the water pressure and temperature were both great. We had a room on the 16th floor and paid to have a view over the harbour. It was worth it! Really enjoyed our stay!
