We were down in Hobart for the weekend to experience Dark Mofo, and the Crowne Plaza was the perfect base for our stay.nnThe rooms were spacious, spotless, and modern. We were fortunate to have views across Hobart Harbour, which were especially impressive in the evenings during Dark Mofo. From our room, we could see the iconic red crosses, festival lights, and even the Spirit of Tasmania art installation in the distance.nnRoom was super quiet level 11.nnWe arrived at 8:00 AM on Friday, 19 June, and were warmly welcomed by a lovely staff member who was calm, courteous, and professional. As an added bonus, our room was ready upon arrival, which was greatly appreciated after an early start.nnA special thank you to the team in the Club Lounge on Level 12, particularly Ian and Maya, who were friendly, attentive, and provided a personal touch throughout our stay.nnClub lounge also had lovely views across both sides of the Hobart CBD and Harbour, including Mount Wellington, lovely interior too.nnWe would highly recommend Crowne Plaza Hobart and look forward to returning.
The rooms are a nice size and the bed is very comfortable. Located on Liverpool Street where there is ample shops , malls , and pedestrian-only walkways.nI was happy with my stay. About 10 to 15 minutes walk to the piers where most tourists will spend a chunk of their time and catch Tour boats.nnThe bathroom had ample room for your daily routine. No bathtub and the step in shower was flushed with the floor, but it tended to overflow if you showered more than a few minutes. A disrupted issue were the elevators. There are three, but in the mornings, you had to wait a few minutes. one was reserved for housekeeping. Also the breakfast crowd. It was particularly an issue when you’re trying to check outnnThe views are nice if you have a room facing the Harbour. On a separate note, the Collins Street sky Bus was rerouted during my stay. Check if you are using it to return to the airport.
Stayed here for the Hobart Marathon & staff were so friendly & helpful! They gave some great suggestions for where to see Aurora Australis. None of my reasonable requests were an issue. Room was spacious & very clean. I loved the large wardrobe to hang my clothes & tuck away my 2 suitcases. Beautiful bath & bed views over the City & Mt Wellington. Bath was heaven after a day out in the cold. Fresh pastries, fresh fruit & fresh made pancakes plus non dairy yoghurt & fresh made hot meals were breakfast highlights. Can you tell I’m a foodie?! Club Lounge coffee & tea was great quality & the teacups are gorgeous. Pay extra for the Club Lounge, it’s worth it. Loved my stay!
I booked 25 Dec 25 to 5 Jan 26 for me and my fiancée. Exceptional and friendly service from concierge, reception, dining, and cleaning. Reception in particular for problem solving and helping out with requests. The room felt luxurious and clean with attention to detail. A complimentary bowl of fruit was provided on the first day and then a small bottle of wine and chocolates for new year's eve. Late check-out was appreciated and the buffet breakfast great. My fiancée had just completed the 80th Rolex Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race in very challenging conditions and our stay was a perfect respite for her to rest and recuperate. Centrally located just 10 minutes walk to Salamanca and Constitution Dock. A wonderful experience. JP
Great stay at the crowne plaza in hobart, the location was close to everything within the CBD, parking was originally a bit hectic but we eventually found a temporary park while the concierge parked it for us. Which was $40 a day and needed up to 30 minutes wait for them to grab your car of you needed it. But was still convenient as we did not need our car for the stay. The Deck on level 4 was a great place to get some dinner and drinks if you did not feel like going out elsewhere.
