A Perfect Birthday Escape at Crowne Plaza HobartnWe stayed at Crowne Plaza Hobart for two nights to celebrate my birthday and were absolutely delighted with the experience. The Premium King room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a strong connection to nature — the tree motifs and natural tones created a calming, grounded atmosphere.nnThe little touches made it feel luxurious and modern: lights that turned on automatically as we walked in, curtains that opened themselves each morning to reveal a glorious view of the Derwent River, and a deep, stunning bath perfect for relaxing. The king-size bed was incredibly comfy — I slept so well!nnValet parking was prompt and effortless, and the service throughout the stay was friendly and professional. Every detail felt thoughtful and elevated the experience. The buffet breakfast was generous and offered a wide selection. Highly recommend for a relaxing Hobart getaway or a special occasion. I’ll definitely be back!
I stay here regularly as part of my work commitments and this place is like my home away from home. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and efficient, with the lovely manager always greeting me by name and having a chat. Handwritten welcome notes for being a repeat visitor are a great touch, as are the occasional treats they leave in my room! The beds and pillows are so luxurious and comfortable and provide a great sleep. Any unforeseen maintenance issues are dealt with quickly and professionally. Great place to stay
Preeti, the hotel manager is fantastic as is Anisha who supervises the food and beverage on the main floor. Rooms are very good. Club access, a must. Food is excellent across the facility. The only negative is the, at times daily room refresh. Still, that can be worked out as it was for us. Highly central in the heart of the CBD. I like the Crowne Plaza, Hobart. Would I recommend it? If the inconsistency in service delivery can be worked on then a definite yes. Another issue is a nightclub next door. Operstes all night, Fridays, Saturdays and Tuesdays. Not a good look if sleep is what you need.
Great hotel. Good value for . Hard case though, as a valued member so i was told of the hotel chain, on arrival I got upgraded to a club lounge room, nice start. However, in next breath, got told upgrade didn't actually come with lounge access! You win some, you lose some! Good hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay. Had breakfast at the club lounge, ordering eggs Benedict from the menu - it was delish! Cooked by Ash, the chef, who was very hospitable and friendly. Excellent service overall.
