We had an incredible stay. The room was beautiful and very comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout.nThe Club Lounge was a real highlight—complimentary snacks, soft drinks, and juices were available all day, along with a complimentary breakfast. From 5–7 pm, there were unlimited hard drinks and delicious canapés.nAll the staff were friendly and caring. In the Club Lounge, Thomas and Alayna were awesome.nThere is a kids' play area on level 5, offering a range of activities, including table tennis. Additionally, a fitness club is located on level 5.nnParking is valet, but whenever you need your car, they bring it in 15 min.
We stayed for a week with Crowne Hobart. It was an amazing experience. They are extremely friendly and polite. The standard king room was beautiful and clean with everything for a comfortable stay. Beds very comfy. Valet parking available but order your car about 30 min prior to your need for it. We got a flat tyre during our stay they need the time to walk up to the carpark which is a block or so away uphill. You have a fabulous and delicious selection for the buffet breakfast. Expect a wait for the cappuccino from the bar, breakfast coffees are popular and busy at times. We had a harbour side view which was a lovely bonus. We will always remember our stay with Crowne Hobart. Thankyou.
A Perfect Birthday Escape at Crowne Plaza HobartnWe stayed at Crowne Plaza Hobart for two nights to celebrate my birthday and were absolutely delighted with the experience. The Premium King room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a strong connection to nature — the tree motifs and natural tones created a calming, grounded atmosphere.nnThe little touches made it feel luxurious and modern: lights that turned on automatically as we walked in, curtains that opened themselves each morning to reveal a glorious view of the Derwent River, and a deep, stunning bath perfect for relaxing. The king-size bed was incredibly comfy — I slept so well!nnValet parking was prompt and effortless, and the service throughout the stay was friendly and professional. Every detail felt thoughtful and elevated the experience. The buffet breakfast was generous and offered a wide selection. Highly recommend for a relaxing Hobart getaway or a special occasion. I’ll definitely be back!
This was one of our best stays ever and we have had many around the world over the years. Our 8th floor spacious room with corner and frontal views of Hobart and beyond greeted us every time we walked in. Bathroom was a whole suite of rooms: we loved the private separate dressing room section and a shower that could fit a whole family. I could go on about the automatic and press button technology that opens and shuts everything. We had 3 Bistro meals: most mains btw $25 - $30 and the service and staff were so pleasant. Breakfast choices were amazing too. Checking in and out was easy. Others mentioned the slow lifts and how the doors don’t allow time enough to get in with bags. A lady got jammed and hurt on one occasion. Very convenient location but on the main through road / street in Hobart.
Great location. Superb views of beautiful Hobart from the hotel room and excellent hospitality. Was there for 2 nights covering the India-Australia T20 game. Special thanks to the lady from Bengaluru at reception who gave a personalised welcome note and ensured a super smooth check-in. Very grateful to Amit Maharjan, the duty manager who gave me lots of tips to explore local sights and cuisine. What a superstar! Keep up the great work Crowne Plaza. We'll meet again!
