I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Hobart during my recent birthday trip to Tasmania. The facilities were clean and comfortable, making it so easy to unwind and relax. The hotel is also quite centrally located, 10-min walk to the pier and heaps of cuisines to try within walking radius.nnThe staff there were all very friendly and attentive, ensuring our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Special thanks to Dylan for providing outstanding services during our stay. He was helpful and exceptionally responsive to us, making our holiday feel extra perfect.nnHighly recommend Crowne Plaza for anyone who is thinking of visiting Hobart.
We were lucky enough to stay in a 1 bedroom suite with beautiful views of Mt Wellington.nAfter a week of driving around Tasmania, finishing our trip off at this hotel with such attentive service was perfect.nThe suite was modern, spacious and felt very luxurious.nThe particular room we booked also gave us access to the lounge with drinks and canapes in the evening. We also enjoyed breakfast every morning with great food options, great service and great views.
Fabulous stay at the Crowne!nRoom was excellent and exceptionally clean with a great view. Staff were brilliant, accommodating and very competent. We paid for the club upgrade at 100 a night for a couple. Great value as we got a room upgrade, breakfast and evening canapes with excellent wine included. Valay parking was also a blessing. Reasonably priced and brilliant to not have to find your own parking in the heart of the city. Location was also excellent, and we found we could walk to just about everywhere we wanted to visit.nHighly recommended and we will definitely visit again.
My stay at Crowne Plaza Hobart was largely excellent, marred only by inconsistent front desk and housekeeping service.nnI was welcomed with a card and fruits in my room. The spacious room, with its delightful automatic blinds, was a highlight after long day trips. The king-size bed and perfectly firm pillows ensured great comfort and the decent shower water pressure was appreciated, though the lack of a shower door led to water splashing out; an odd design choice.nGym area is big and decently equipped. The breakfast team was outstanding, offering a varied menu starting at 6:30 AM, ideal for my early day trips.nnHowever the front desk and housekeeping disappointed. On my first night, I called to request cotton pads and slippers, but was told by a staff member they weren’t available; surprising, as other Crowne Plazas provide these. The next day, another staff member confirmed availability and promised delivery, but nothing arrived even I waited till fall asleep. Only after I insisted on waiting at reception the following day were the items promptly provided to me in person! ‍
This Easter Long Weekend 2025 we stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days. Our room was on level 10 and it was big like a studio , being very spacious and clean. We could have fitted 2 extra people easy. There was complimentary cold / hot drinks and a variety of canapés every night from 5-7. My daughter always had a hot chocolate and brownie. The staff here were friendly and helpful. This hotel is in the middle of the city which we loved. We walked to the Salamanca Markets ,the Asian night market, the farmers markert and ect. Downstairs had the mall and all the restaurants so we explored that. The harbour was close too which was filled with boats / yachts and fish and chips and ice cream stores so it was a nice family time too. This hotel is also close to airport maybe 20min drive and the view on all our drives was peaceful and stunning. We would definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Hobart.
