Good location and cheap accommodation. It definitely feels like being in an older B&B in the UK, but that’s no problem at all. Parking costs extra, which is good because there’s a lot of travellers staying without a vehicle, and it’d be unfair to make everyone else carry the cost.nGreat location. Very, very convenient. I will be staying here again next time I’m down here for work.
My partner and I spent three weeks at the hotel.nnThe hotel is in poor condition. The furniture is old, the walls need painting, and mi the carpets show signs of wear. The bathrooms also leave much to be desired.nnThe towels and bedding were not new, and worse, there were instances where they were not properly cleaned.nnCleaning was supposed to be twice a week, but there were times when the staff didn't come at all, and we had to ask for cleaning and replacement of towels and bedding.nnThe reception staff was generally nice and helpful. I can't say a bad word about them.nnA major problem we noticed upon checking out was that items went missing from our room. My partner lost expensive cosmetics, and I lost my iPhone charger.nnWe reported this to the reception, but despite their efforts, the hotel staff could not help us recover our items.nnUnfortunately, the hotel was booked by the company we work for. If we had the choice, we would never have chosen it.
Booked a room for two nights for my Husband who was visiting our daughter. The only good thing he had to say about his stay was the location. For the price we paid, we definitely expected more. He was even told they provided an upgraded room.nFor a room not to even have bedside tables for your phone etc, very poor. They need to improve before we'd ever book to stay there again.
My boyfriend and I stayed in the Allurity for 7 days. This was booked in Ireland as when we done our research, the Allurity was advertised as a 4-star hotel, the pictures looked promising and the location was great.nHowever, when we got there it was a totally different experience and definitely was not up to a 4-star hotel standard. We wished we read the reviews prior to booking.nThe room was thick with dust, we got given dirty towels upon arrival, the duvet had blood on it, the room had mould and the service during the whole week was terrible.nDuring the 7 days, our room was only serviced once. And it wasn’t even fully complete. Our duvet cover hasn’t been changed, they just re-made the bed. Our bathroom bin wasn’t emptied and the room was still really dusty despite us making a complaint to the manager on our first night.nWe had to go to the reception desk every day and sometimes twice a day for fresh towels, clean dishes and other amenities such as getting a microwave. We were disgusted when we were told we would have to use washing up liquid and a cloth to wash our dishes in the bathroom sink. This is extremely unhygienic and I don’t fancy eating off plates etc. that were washed in the same room as the toilet.nThe manager and the other receptionist would just apologise any time we would complain or make a request which after a while got boring as they would use the same excuse “being understaffed”. As paying customers that’s not our issue.nI’ve never stayed in a 4-star hotel before where the room did not receive fresh towels daily, room service and clean dishes.nDon’t waste your money. Please look at the pictures.
Tin Tin and Jill were incredible! So lovely and kind to deal with. Great service and so helpful and generous! Awesome location, close walk to most of Hobart's hot spots. Beds were very comfy also!
