This hotel definitely takes pride of their service and professionalism. Check in and out was super easy, friendly staff. Yummy warm cookie on arrival that made you feel very welcomed. I haven’t heard of a hotel doing that in Tasmania.nnRooms were good just an everyday room but can’t complain when you don’t spend much time there anyways. Beds were comfy, shower was good. Pool and amenities were great.nnBuffet breakfast was delicious and one of the best I’ve been to.
We stay here at Hilton Hobart during recent visit to Tasmania.nTheir service staff polite and helpful, always giving helping hands and smile on her face, thumb up to Madhu front line staff.nnWe have great stay in Hilton throughout our vacations with her helping hands.nnLocation is centralise and good.nAll other attraction around Tassie are within walking distance to Hilton.nnRoom is clean and spacious.nWill definitely stay here again when visit Tasmania.
Have mixed reviews of our current stay at Doubletree by Hilton in Hobart.nnThe rooms are excellent, spacious with good amenities. Great location in heart of the city. Swimming pool is nice and my kids loved spending time in the pool.nnBut the housekeeping service and breakfast are not upto the standards. Housekeeping didn't change towels or clean our room on 1st day. After asking twice the towels were replaced. The cutlery and used mugs weren't changed. The robe went missing and not changed.nNext day they changed towels and used mugs, but the beds weren't made and the toiletries weren't refilled. I would have expected these basic clean up things to be taken care off at Hilton.nnBreakfast was missing few basic things you would expect to be available and wasn't great.nnTo add to this, we had parking issues and I had to park in the driveway overnight as the parking was full even after I paid additional charges for the parking.nnSo apart from good front desk staff, rooms and location I am disappointed with my stay.
What an amazing stay! We stayed here for 3 nights for a short first trip to Tasmania, I was not disappointed! Rocking up we were greeted with friendly smiles and welcomed to the hotel! After checking in, we were given the famous Hilton warm cookies! They are so good! Arriving to our rooms we couldn’t have been more happy with it! Such a comfortable queen bed, a nice view and a very nice bathroom. The staff kept checking in with us making sure our stay was comfortable and if we needed any help. Having a car hire we were also able to park in the underground car park which made it much easier travelling around. Highly recommend to anyone looking at getting nice accommodation right in the city that comes with excellent service, food and facilities! We will be coming back!
Ok so I am a little embarrassed by the service at this hotel. I have stayed at Hilton Hotels all around the world. Service is usually excellent with staff that excel and strive to meet guest requests. Usually bottled water is complimentary as you would expect. This has been the case through Europe, asia and North America. I have booked 8 days worth of accommodations at this one and asked for water on the third night. The front desk clerk actually said no that they would not give water and we would have to purchase it at the bar. She actually pulled the environmental card. OMG why give plastic bottles in the first place. The rooms are great, though a little small. Showers are awesome. Location is a little out of the action of the CBD but well walkable. For a customer dropping over $1000, in a chain that has a global standard of great customer service, then to quibble over water is embarrassing for me and the hotel. Stick to the standard or drop the name because you are only playing pretend that you are a Hilton.
