This hotel definitely takes pride of their service and professionalism. Check in and out was super easy, friendly staff. Yummy warm cookie on arrival that made you feel very welcomed. I haven’t heard of a hotel doing that in Tasmania.nnRooms were good just an everyday room but can’t complain when you don’t spend much time there anyways. Beds were comfy, shower was good. Pool and amenities were great.nnBuffet breakfast was delicious and one of the best I’ve been to.
This is an excellent new hotel about 10 minutes from the harbour. The rooms are fresh and clean and actually have lighting that you can read by. The beds were comfortable. There is also a nice pool on level one which is heated and about 25 m. There are restaurants on site and also many within walking distance..
Have mixed reviews of our current stay at Doubletree by Hilton in Hobart.nnThe rooms are excellent, spacious with good amenities. Great location in heart of the city. Swimming pool is nice and my kids loved spending time in the pool.nnBut the housekeeping service and breakfast are not upto the standards. Housekeeping didn't change towels or clean our room on 1st day. After asking twice the towels were replaced. The cutlery and used mugs weren't changed. The robe went missing and not changed.nNext day they changed towels and used mugs, but the beds weren't made and the toiletries weren't refilled. I would have expected these basic clean up things to be taken care off at Hilton.nnBreakfast was missing few basic things you would expect to be available and wasn't great.nnTo add to this, we had parking issues and I had to park in the driveway overnight as the parking was full even after I paid additional charges for the parking.nnSo apart from good front desk staff, rooms and location I am disappointed with my stay.
What an amazing stay! We stayed here for 3 nights for a short first trip to Tasmania, I was not disappointed! Rocking up we were greeted with friendly smiles and welcomed to the hotel! After checking in, we were given the famous Hilton warm cookies! They are so good! Arriving to our rooms we couldn’t have been more happy with it! Such a comfortable queen bed, a nice view and a very nice bathroom. The staff kept checking in with us making sure our stay was comfortable and if we needed any help. Having a car hire we were also able to park in the underground car park which made it much easier travelling around. Highly recommend to anyone looking at getting nice accommodation right in the city that comes with excellent service, food and facilities! We will be coming back!
Amazing hotel. One of the best doubletrees I stayed at. Its new, fresh, spacious and clean.nService was amazing for the most part, reception staff were really nice. Special mention to Madhu from FO who was very welcoming, friendly and looked after all my needs.nOnly negative was a but of rude attitude from the lady with the red hair in the breakfast. Was not 'ver welcoming' and was bit rude to many people with where they should sit etc.... but this does not take away from the 5 star review as everything else was perfect.
