The Sunken Monkey Hotel, formerly The Woodport Inn was originally built in 1998 but taken over more recently in August 2015. The freshly renovated, modern pub, provides a new benchmark in entertainment and leisure on the Central Coast. Providing a fresh destination for food and nightlife or simply an outing for the family, all in the one location.

The Sunken Monkey Hotel is something people of ALL AGES can enjoy. Patrons can soak up the ambience over three levels.

Being a child friendly location, you can sit and socialise with friends and family in one of the restaurants; Aquafire Bar & Grill or The Wine Locker or enjoy a casual drink by the water’s edge in The Monkey Bar.

Aquafire Bar & Grill caters to all ages and budgets, offering premium quality food and service for lunch and dinner daily. The Wine Locker provides a more intimate space for that special occasion offering a more prestigious dining experience with an ambiance of warmth and charm. Both restaurants feature quality menu items with an even more impressive wine list.

The Monkey Bar is the outdoor courtyard area by the water’s edge, offering food from Aquafire Bar & Grill, house crafted cocktails and live music over the weekends. The Monkey Bar is host to 16 on tap beers, offering the Coasts largest selection of beers on tap. Now displaying a laser light show, not only are the kids are entertained at night, but it’s something for the adults to enjoy also.

The Sunken Monkey Hotel features a Las Vegas style Night Club; Proud Mary’s, bringing the best local and international Dj’s & live acts to the Coast. Appealing to a broad group of ages and genres, Proud Mary’s provides something unique, offering VIP private booth seating, bottle service with private wait staff and a variety of music that everyone enjoys.
