The World Bar

This was the first time go to World Bar which is a short walk from Kings Cross train station. My eldest daughter and I went to see American comedian Steve Hofstetter performing The atmosphere is relaxing with cool ambience. Beers on tap aren't you typical heavy on the gut Aussie beer but quality pale ales and pilseners. I ended up trying two different pale ales, both made my tongue happy as Larry. My daughter tried a pale ale. She also had a cocktail. A note about cocktails at World Bar. If it's not on their menu, ask anyway. They looked up information for my daughter made it without fuss and made perfectly. We both ordered a burger meal which is a burger and chips. I can't remember what the burgers were called. We were both very satisfied with our meals. Their burgers are very filling. And out the back beyond the red curtains was the show. The stage out was small with seating well set out. The staff are fantastic. I would go back just to eat another burger meal and down a few ales.

Awesome venue with knowledgeable bartenders and classic and new cocktails. Best deals in Kings Cross for Happy Hour from 5pm-7pm. My favorite pub in Sydney with beautiful bespoke decor and a great terrace. A must go if you are a local or just visiting us from abroad.

Great place to chill out in the afternoon/early evening for a beer or glass of wine listening to some great tunes. Lovely friendly staff and reasonable prices. My oasis in the middle of the Cross! Highly recommend!😊👍

If you're looking for a low key atmosphere to pass some time and have a beer, then the World Bar is the right place. Beer selection is decent, and bar staff are young and friendly. The tables outside are great for easy summer evenings, and hanging out with friends.

great place to go no matter what the occasion. Drinks are fairly priced and the music is always good! And the staff are awesome and helpful.
