I utterly appalled . This is a regular venue that my friends and I go to for a fun time after a week at work. 

Recently, I left the line of Scary Canary to say hello to a friend. After briefly speaking to her, I re entered the line with my other friends. 
 
To my surprise I was approached by a security guard who I asked me to leave. After explaining the situation to him I assumed he would understand but I was mistaken. He then become argumentative and aggressive. 

After going back and forth about how there is no signage to say that I was not able to leave the line to speak to a friends and we were all sober,  not being quarrelsome, all over 18, and  were not a risk to the public we were still asked to leave. 

We felt completely discriminated. 

If you want to have a fun night and not be harraassed by security don't go here. It use to be a great bar for our friends to catch up at (the couple I was with even met there 5 years ago) but it has become overregulated and boring. if you want to have a fun night and not be harraassed by security don't go here.

I used to enjoy this place until last night the security guard told me im not allowed in with boat shoes... i wear these shoes everywhere never going back.

Ok, so the bald approx 5.9” bouncer is one of the worst people I’ve ever encountered. Swear on my life I wasnt drunk and that I’m telling the truth. I got in but my brother didn’t... “apparently he had “crazy eyes”, but in fact he just has piercing blue eyes, and didn’t let him in. I disputed quite rightly as we had been together the whole night and he in total had three drinks, but they refused to let him in. As I explained the situation the bouncer then said “fine, he gets in but you dont” and called the police on me... the man with a ‘badge’ came forward but refused to allow me to take a photograph meaning he was fake.... the whole thing was ridiculous and outrageous . What an awful place where the staff treat you like utter garbage. Not worth the hour queue and apparently it smells like piss.
