Rip off merchants! We attended as part of a bucks do with an included bottle of vodka as part of a package. We quickly realised that the drinks being served to us contained no alcohol. After questioning the bar manager we were repeatedly told that the vodka was real. He tried to show us him opening a fresh bottle but this was just as bad. After questioning the bar manager several more times he eventually gave in and said 'you got me'. They had been serving us very watered down vodka - which everyone in our group could taste no vodka whatsoever. The bar manager and staff wanted to throw us out for causing issues and uncovering their rip off scheme however the RSA officers that we had been speaking to throughout the evening on the upper level (with real drinks) pleaded our case to the bar manager that we had been respectful customers. The RSA officer was not at all surprised when hearing what had happened and it was clear from what he told us that this happens ALL THE TIME. After admitting to serving fake drinks, the bar manager finally opened a real bottle of vodka which tasted like a real drink. We quickly finished this and left the club immediately. I certainly won't return and anyone thinking of visiting this club should know that the management is quite happy to rip you off. Go somewhere else.

Decked out better than most places in the area, Kit & Kaboodle is a great place for music and cocktails. Not going to lie - a lot of beautiful people make this place one of their places to 'be seen'. Don't let that deter you though - always a fun night here.

The ambience and decor of the this venue is very Victorian style and sheik. With many seats surrounding the walls and ottomans there's plenty of resting places. Drinks are expensive working out to be around about $12 a hit for a standard drink.. Music was a bit mixed here as the first time I visited, it was good house.. My recent visit.. Not so good.. Music was random with old and new house music sometimes mixed with rn'b.. Maybe it was just the Dj for the night..

Love the music and dance vibe. Really chill, crowd isn't too pretentious. Filled with younger age groups (teens and early 20's)

Sunday sessions here is the best! just get in and get working. The club itself has great decor and the crowd is awesome making it a great kings cross nightspot!
