Sitting on the top of the hill is a great reward of breakfast after a tough climb to the top.  Unfortunately today the brekky and coffee wasn’t up to the usual great standard.  The croissant was tasty and filled with ham, but looked just a little flat as it came out of the warmer, while the coffee had a touch too much bitterness for my liking and a bit short on milk.   But stunning views nonetheless

I enjoyed lunch in the Café with three friends yesterday. The food was very good and the view delightful. Our waitress, Justine, provided excellent service. She was friendly and attentive to our needs but unobtrusive. We will return.

We held our wedding reception at The Summit in September 2017.  If you want 5 star service, 5 star food and 5 star organisation this is the place.  From our initial meeting with Tony O'Donnell (May 2016)  we found him to be 100% supportive of US and OUR ideas.  Tony is the most passionate and dedicated person... it's all about services and what he and his amazing team could do to make our dream wedding a reality.  Communication was outstanding - he was always at the end of the phone/email and we would frequently pop up on a Saturday and have a chat.  Every last detail was planned and Tony executed the night perfectly.  Our guests couldn't stop talking about how exquisite the food was, how professional and friendly the service was and how amazing the venue looked.  We couldn't agree more.  If you are looking for venue for your reception, we TOTALLY RECOMMEND contacting Tony.  The planning process was thoroughly enjoyable, stress free and above all - FUN!  Thank you Tony, and your incredible team - we felt part of the family and really enjoyed planning our reception with you all :) You made our night and we will talk about it (as will our guests) for many years to come.  Incredible.

Dear Tony and all your amazing staff

There are no words to express our gratitude in what you have done for myself and Ben in putting our wedding together yesterday  (30/9). You exceeded all expectations and you helped make it a truly magnificent and memorable day for all who attended. We will never forget what you have done for us. 

Also I want to acknowledge you for saving me from the ignorant and extremely rude cyclist (you know who you are) who had no regard for public safety and who almost ran me down as I was about to walk down the isle.

The Summit Restaurant is a fantastic venue whether you go for breakfast, lunch or dinner and definitely a wedding!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Fantastic food and fantastic service. Would recommend Tony and his awesome team to anyone wanting to have a Wedding reception that people will Talk about for all the right reasons for years to come. Well done again to Tony and his team!!!!
