The Haus Restaurant of Hahndorf is a dining and social experience like no other.

Located in the heart of the stunning Adelaide Hills, The Haus Restaurant showcases an amazing selection of dishes created from the best in local produce.

Purpose built with the true foodie in mind our Adelaide Hills Restaurant is a fine dining venue located on the beautiful Main Street of Hahndorf. Alfresco outdoor spaces, intimate dining nooks, busy café catch-up’s, relaxed dining for longer sits or funky tunes to sway too.

Together with our three accommodation properties in Hahndorf we can cater for various all Conferences, Events and Functions.

Hahndorf is the perfect alternative to Adelaide CBD Conferences and Functions where you can immerse yourself in the fresh air and down to earth charm; away from the hustle and bustle.

The Hahndorf Accommodation Group providers a one point of contact service from start to finish for all our Hahndorf events. At The Haus Restaurant we have two interconnecting spaces ‘Walnut Rooms 1 & 2’ adjacent to the dining room. Over the road The Manna of Hahndorf, adjacent to the Reception Office, we also have ‘The Business Centre’.

If you visit Hanhdorf, this restaurant might be good option. The moment you step in, you will love this place. We choose to seat at the table by the street. We only ordered pizza and chicken wings. The pizza was really good especially the tandoori chicken pizza but not with chicken wings. Kind of to tough, not so crisp.
A nice meal with my wife and son. We waited 25 minutes for our coffee and it was fairly cold. I had the German Mixed Grill, my wife, the Kassler Chop, and my son had the Sirlion Steak.nSteak was overcooked and had no flavour. My pork chop was very small, probably less than 100g, but with the two sausages, the meal costs $49....... I'm not sure it was worth it. The rest of the food was OK, but I think you can get better value for money elsewhere. They were very expensive, but it was a nice place.nnI think they might be too busy, which effects their service and quality. So note to management, reduce your bookings it might improve your quality and the customers experience.nnOverall, this please is definitely worth a visit, so come try it if you haven't been here, but pick your days wisely.
Public holiday in Hahndorf = plenty of people in one place or even a restaurant. Thus, I was impressed by the efficiency of table service. Food is always good there too. Only one thing I wouldn’t like is too noisy today but it wasn’t their fault.
If you are in Hahndorf and want to eat German cuisine you need to go to The Haus. We have tried all the German restaurants around and this is the one with the best food quality. We had the German Breakfast, the SCHWEINSHAXE, the Braised Pork Hock and the HAUS APPLE STRUDEL. All delicious and we only needed more time in Hahndorf to go through the other menu items we wanted to try.nThe service is friendly and very welcoming, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is inviting. The staff make your experience feel even better than it already is. It does not matter if you go for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just for cake and coffee; it is GREAT!
