Booked a table for 10 people. Great food in a great place, I love the decor the paintings are fantastic. It was quiet on a Monday which worked in our favour. The place feels much better than what u can see on photos. Highly recommended.
Nice Indian restaurant located between Stirling and Aldgate. Huge menu options with multiple varieties including vegetarian and gluten free. Food was fresh, tasty and delicious. The spicy mushrooms had a good level of heat! Service was quick and friendly. Well worth checking out.
Took my wife here for a birthday dinner. We have previously been here on our honeymoon and found the food delightful so we have come back again.nThe food was still amazing and we left feeling satisfied.nWe thought the service was a bit lacking, they had three staff on the floor when we were there and it was my group of 6 plus another couple. It took a while to get service and it was missing attention to detail.
It was just a random visit and At the first appearance I assumed that food is not gonna be authentic but after ordering I’ve noticed I was wrong and the food was pretty good. Portion size was perfect. Breads were great. Staff was amazing. Interiors were nice. Very cozy n comfortable restaurant.
My partner and I have been eating here regularly for many years, nearly once a fortnight at one point. Our typical meal cost have always come to around $95. About 6-9 months ago, the price jumped to around $125 for the same meal. Ok, cost of living has gone up maybe around 25% so maybe that's justified. However just recently, the price for the exact same meal order jumped again to around $150!!! It's Indian food for crying out loud. Probably the cheapest and easiest of all foods to make! I'm sorry but you guys are taking the piss with your pricing and have made it unaffordable for regulars like us now. The value for money is no longer there. The food is ok but not amazing, and many of the meals taste the same. And the nail in the coffin is that while we were eating there recently during a date night, half way through our meal, someone out back in the kitchen started using some power tool or something that was very loud and obnoxious. The noise carried on for about 10 minutes. Sounded a bit like a hammer drill removing tiles or something? The door to the kitchen was wide open and we couldn't hear each other talk over the noise. Total put-off! So, we'll be taking our money elsewhere from now on.
