Food was amazing and fresh! The bartender and the employees were very humble . Situated on main road . Have nice menu to choose and match with alcoholic drinks. Has a small garden outside to breathe fresh air and talk. Sometimes can have some events for college or business people so better sit outside or reserve your seat. Has ATM inside too. Just no wifi inside so better recharge overall nice experience! Thanks!
Fabulous!! We had a large booking and had initially booked indoors, but it turned out to be a lovely day and the staff were able to accommodate us with a table in their beautiful beer garden. It was absolutely perfect Great food that catered to gluten free etc, great staff and prompt service. Amazing cocktail menu too Couldn't ask for more and Highly recommend!!!
Great pub meals. Lamb shoulder was sooo tender and tasty. Brisket pie was delicious, Parma was giant. Tried a couple of different cocktails I hadn't seen before which were amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Advised to book beforehand due to restrictions they were at capacity.
We had a booking for 1.45pm on Sunday 18th September. We arrived a little early and placed our food order sometime between 1.30 and 1.40. Stood at the bar I acknowledged for a few minutes whilst a couple of staff members saw us waiting, but that didn’t prompt anyone to attend to us. When I peaked around the corner to see if there was anyone behind the bar on the poolroom side, there were half a dozen staff standing in a group chatting. When the noticed me peeking around with a menu in hand, finally someone came to take our order. We then waited week over an hour for our lunch to arrive. Questioned the wait a couple of times but this didn’t seem to speed things up. The excuse was that you had a large function in progress. Whilst I appreciate that this adds to pressures on staff but quite frankly that’s not our problem. Perhaps you could have warned us about the excessive delay we should expect for the arrival of our food when we ordered. Were it not for Suzanna, who was profusely apologetic and offered drinks and dessert on the house, our experience would have been remembered as much worse. However, sadly this was our first time dining at the Stolberg and it will be our last. I would like to say however, that despite our experience, your staff were very friendly, and Suzanna is an absolute asset to your business.
Food is delicious and the serving is extra generous. Massive plates of food!
Second time we have dined here. Food is always nice and large portions. Parma is huge with lots of flavour compared to other venues. We waited awhile for our food the first time we went here but the second time it seemed a lot quicker. We played pool while waiting for our food and listened to live music which was great for a Friday night out. Highly recommend going here for dinner
Great pub atmosphere that felt genuine yet modern. U staff me miner was pretty rude. Mixed food results, apparently the steak was ace, so were the kids fish and chips, wouldn’t do the chicken burger ever again. Will give it another gonthoigh
Stolberg is amazing! It was our first time there last night for Trivia. Space was chill, staff were friendly and host was great. This might now be our regular trivia haunt. Thank you and keep it up!
We had a lovely time sitting outside in the beer garden in the sunshine. Food was fantastic! We had burgers, parmy and steak and all were great. Friendly staff and great service too :
Great food, all of the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Sally-Anne was so helpful and went above and beyond. Love their beer garden and always something going on at the venue
