Story

Pantry Restaurant has been an important part of the Bayside landscape for more than 20 years. In a relaxed, stylish setting, our customers can enjoy delicious food served with a smile by our fantastic team.

I don't know why it took me so long to ever try a meal here. It's always busy, with lines out the door at times, and people lining up for take away coffees. Tried it today for the first time ever, and I was glad I did. The breakfast and brunch menu have some different items than the rest of the cafes in Melbourne who all have pretty much the same menus. While I only chose the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon, the others in the group had different items, and we all enjoyed what we had.nThe service is friendly, the decor is lovely, the food is tasty. IF I had to be picky over anything, it would be the pricing. I do think some items were really high, especially for things you can easily make at home. Also, there was no effort made at all to allow for substitutions in a meal. With that said, I'd definitely come back again. It was also a really nice touch that they gave me a complimentary cupcake with sparkler for my birthday. It just made the whole experience that little nicer still.
Had a great prawn linguini. The toasties were also good. Portion size was generous. Service was ok. If you're meeting someone in Brighton for lunch it's always a safe bet.
This review is to highlight how good the service was. Both senior or managing staff on were not only accommodating but went above and beyond. With a large group with a few dietary issues Celiac, lactose free and allergies they made us feel like there was always an option rather than a pain! Which I know it can be! They seemed to genuinely want to provide the best service and make the experience great even if it is just brunch on a Sunday! Thank you, will be recommending this place. The vibe feels like an expensive Italian restaurant inside. I had the special chili eggs with the house bread. The food was good but nothing crazy. Ratios felt a bit off. My mocha was also a bit underwhelming but I think between the service and the vibe I would be happy to try something off the normal menu. Good for girls brunch, family breaky or large groups. Booked online!.
Sitting outside on a sunny day is always a vibe at the pantry. Great options include rice bowl, crab scramble, lox bagel. Food is always fresh, flavorful and vibrant
The place to have a great start of the day with delicious breakfast and creative healthy juice. My friends and I visited for a late breaky, and we are surprised by the quick and great service. The food was amazing, derived with mo delays... the roti was so delicious that we ordered extra . Definitely, it became one of the places that I will attend again and again. You must give a try too.
