Story

Pantry Restaurant has been an important part of the Bayside landscape for more than 20 years. In a relaxed, stylish setting, our customers can enjoy delicious food served with a smile by our fantastic team.

I love the atmosphere here, there’s something about it that’s just ‘Brighton’. the staff were very friendly and took great care of us. food was great and fresh too! must go every time i’m in Brighton. cya.
I don't know why it took me so long to ever try a meal here. It's always busy, with lines out the door at times, and people lining up for take away coffees. Tried it today for the first time ever, and I was glad I did. The breakfast and brunch menu have some different items than the rest of the cafes in Melbourne who all have pretty much the same menus. While I only chose the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon, the others in the group had different items, and we all enjoyed what we had.nThe service is friendly, the decor is lovely, the food is tasty. IF I had to be picky over anything, it would be the pricing. I do think some items were really high, especially for things you can easily make at home. Also, there was no effort made at all to allow for substitutions in a meal. With that said, I'd definitely come back again. It was also a really nice touch that they gave me a complimentary cupcake with sparkler for my birthday. It just made the whole experience that little nicer still.
We had a late breakfast at Pantry today for the first time. Service was fairly quick and the food was delicious, although they have kind of the same breakfast options like all the other cafes, because of the bolder spicing they tasted really nice. The atmosphere was okay, however it is not exactly our favorite type of establishment with its ‘dark’ ambience.nOverall we had a good experience, it’s worth giving this place a try if you’re in the area.
Ambience- Check. Service- Check. Food- Check. Could not fault this place. The people were lovely and the food was so yummy. I got the breakfast roll- normally not a fan of avocado but I didn’t take it out and glad I didn’t. They catered to our requests without hesitation - extra marshmallows for my hot choccie and extra toast and butter. My partner got the crab scrambled eggs and he loved it. Would highly recommend! Keep up the good job guys!
I love to come here for breakfast although I’m not local.nThey have nice indoor and perfect outdoor set up which is pleasant even in cold days.nI happily taking my dog with me there she is loving it too.nAlso the customer service is grate. They are friendly and quick. I asked them to move the heater closer to me a couple time as it was very cold today and they didn’t mind it all.Thanks for awesome customer service nCoffee quality is excellent too.nI order a few thing today to share with my wife and we both enjoyed the food.nWe had worm Porridge, Banana bread and a crumpet.nPorridge was nice and worm and date was a nice touch to add. I would love a bigger size for banana bread but it was ok and I liked the crumpet very much.nOverall I liked it here and defiantly coming back.
